We need him or AB to have a shot. Mike Evans (or anyone else) cannot play that role.

To be honest, if the Bucs could only keep Godwin or Evans I would choose Godwin.

This shit almost appears scripted man. JUST when AB is about to return, we lose Godwin for the rest of the season.

Luckily AB is more than just a good replacement for Godwin, but this really sucks because Chris seemed to take a next step in his game this year. He went from really good to maybe in the elite territory.

We'll miss Chris's run blocking that, which is leaps and bounds better than ABs. But who are we kidding, it's not like we're going to run the ball anyway.

Oh Antonio Brown is not run blocking. Not a chance. That's not his makeup.

A pile of cow excrement. Oh, sorry, I thought you wanted a description of Tyler's play.

All things considering I don't think he's playing badly. I think expectations are way too high and unrealistic for who he is as a player. People want to compare him to Chris Godwin because they have similar size. But it's not who he is.

He's the heart of the offense. They have to bring him back somehow.

I don’t care what they have to do to keep Godwin next year. Do it. He is more important to this offense than any other weapon.

Since the Bucs refuse to run the ball consistently we rely on the screen game to substitute for the run. Godwin is the reason the screen game works so well. Without him we lose that version of the “extended run” AND still refuse to run the ball.

This offense needs Godwin, I’ll be surprised if he’s not back next year.

Okay so my apologies. Never listen to Ian Rapaport reporting injuries.

Not gonna lie I was skeptical as to how Ian Rapaport got this MCL information in the middle of the night. But I didn't question it because the prognosis was so good. Now I'm questioning his other news that Evans "should be okay" and Fournette will miss "a game or 2".

Godwin tore ACL? How much damn scar tissue did he have in there to pass a Lachman’s test?

He’s just too tough for his own good. Jesus fuck we’re seriously fucked if Antonio Brown can’t turn back the clock 7 years.

Unfortunately, Godwin is gonna get a lesson on the business side of football. If he has an agent that's worth a damn, that agent will tell him to get as much money as he possibly can as soon as he can.

You always take the money. Always.

People were bashing that young Atlanta Braves player for taking a big discount supposedly and having his arb years and some FA years bought out. He became a 100 millionaire overnight.

In theory if he had a lot of scar tissue, he likely would've failed the Lachman immediately.

Yeah and it happens late enough in the season that he probably starts next year on PUP.

ACLs are routine anymore so the Bucs can’t expect a discount right?

Last night was probably the most devastating night of Buc football I can recall in a long while.

This team is proper fucked would be my guess. Maybe Rams and NFC Chamipinship through Green Bay? With chemistry flagging hard and not able to be rebuilt until postseason? No viable RBs on the roster.

And I doubt Brady returns with the roster reconstruction that will occur next year.

Last night was like the greatest revenge porn ever in Saints history. Like all of their snakebit woes of the last decade were just paid down in one 3 hour segment.

I’m guessing Godwin would’ve taken a traditional concussion over getting his knee blown out.
