Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
We lose Fournette, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin to major injuries. 2 others to minor injuries. This may have just destroyed our season.

We are a soft team.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
Get AB back. Run the fucking ball more. We'll be fine
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
Vaughn is only on the roster because his draft capital. He stinks.
I really respect the Saints. They’re bruisers and motherfuckers. We could use some of their heart and physicality right now.
Don’t rush back the WR room. We need them all for the long haul.
Taysom Hill “beat” Tom Brady. Sports are weird.

Not physical enough.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
I will not say anything - have at it.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
We sure the Glazers didn’t do some back door deal and give stake of the team to New Orleans? Because the Saints own the Bucs.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
I just hope Godwin isn’t hurt long term.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
We can make excuses for injuries and whatever, but we still had a ton of reps from our starting skill players and managed zero points. That was first-week-of-preseason level offense, and it wasn't up to NFL standards.
We are still in line to make the playoffs and win our division, and it'll be nice when Mike Edwards and AB come back next week... but still. We need to call an offense that is of NFL caliber, and that wasn't one.
Horrible offense. Defense did okay, all things considered. If you were to tell me that our defense held the Saints to 9 points, I would have expected an easy win. And yet here we are with this bullshit instead.

Knee should be gtg. He was cutting on the sideline.
Brain? Idk.

Godwin is more important to this offense than any single player not named Brady.

Tristan, it is my understanding that Mr. Jordan has violated you for years now. Using the doll, please point to where he touched you.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
That was tough.
Need injury updates.
We should've run more early.

The last time a team was missing both of their starting OTs against us, we held them to 9 points. So there’s that

This loss is primarily on the OL. They got beat bad enough to kill an offense that was already hurt.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
The loss likely gets rid of any potential 1st seed hopes. I do not see the Packers losing two more games. It also opened up a serious path to a 4th seed finish.

No excuse for not utilizing what you had and making do with it, even after Godwin, Fournette, and Evans left. A good coach can overcome injuries. Arians/Leftwich are not good coaches.

Saints were 0-2 in the Red Zone.
Bucs had more passing and rushing yards
Turnovers and 3rd down.
It just wasn't our night. Kudos to Dennis Allen and the Saints defense

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
No words.
Our franchises best and only hope to experience a #1 seed birth and MVP player just died tonight
The dangerous combination of hubris and stubbornness displayed by this coaching staff is going to be our downfall.
You can't unsee this team getting shutout at home 9-0.
Guess we'll see where the chips fall but it would not shock me one bit if we drop another game or two after this loss.
I'm almost ready for it to be over because I can't stand seeing that useless Arians do nothing but stand like a statue with his CPAP machine strapped to his chest and contributing nothing to the teams success.
Rodgers had to go to Arizona with less weapons than Brady had tonight and because they're competent they schemed up a new gameplan on short notice and found a way to win.
We don't have coaching that can do that.
Just numb after that loss.

Yea, Green Bay finishes up with home games against Cleveland and Minnesota and a trip to Detroit. Good luck seeing 2 losses there.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
Opposing defenses are crowding the middle of the field against Brady and daring him to use his feet. He finally paid for it tonight.
Still HTF did we not QB sneak it on the play whet Vaughn got stuffed??

We should know the extent of the injuries in the upcoming days. Both Evans and Fournette suffered hamstring injuries, though Evans looked a lot better than Fournette. Lavonte David will have an MRI on his foot injury tomorrow. No idea what O'Conner's injury was.

Also name the offense that can work without a OL. Please.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
I hope Brady spills the beans on the coaching incompetence of this team when he retires after this season.
BTW, do we get diversity picks if we promote either Leftwich or Bowles to HC?

We watched Rodgers do it against the Cardinals on Thursday night. He had no weapons and the oline was busted to shit. Think they were missing 11 starters that night?Primeminister wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 11:31 pmUtilizing what we had? Yeah, people think Tyler Johnson, Scotty Miller, and Tyler (Jaelen) Durden are acceptable...they aren't, they are back ups or worse. You can't lose your starting 3 WRs and RB and think everything should be fine against a D like the SaintsPrimeminister wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 11:31 pmUtilizing what we had? This gif perfectly encapsulates how I feel, but then I remind myself:
The Bucs have never won the Super Bowl without being swept by the Saints in the regular season.
This is just destiny.

I feel 100% confident that if Brady were kept upright he would have made that bullshit WR corps work. But with the OL playing like shit there was no chance.uscbucsfan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 11:34 pmYeah, people think Tyler Johnson, Scotty Miller, and Tyler (Jaelen) Durden are acceptable...they aren't, they are back ups or worse. That’s the reason I don’t believe AB would’ve made a difference. You can’t protect the QB, it don’t matter who he’s throwing to.Primeminister wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 11:37 pmI feel 100% confident that if Brady were kept upright he would have made that bullshit WR corps work. How am I trolling? Brady had weapons. He had more to work with even after the injuries than Hill did and he was able to at least score 9 pointsPrimeminister wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 11:35 pmIf you weren’t a complete troll we could have a fun debate.
It's not even close to being all on Brady because Arians and Leftwich are prohibitively bad but Brady doesn't get left off the hook here.
He's supposed to be the league MVP and he just got shutout.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
It's sad when a forfeit would yield a better result than playing the game.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 15: Bucs lose 9-0 vs Saints
At this point I’m just really happy we got what can now only be called a lucky, fluke win over these guys in the playoffs and turned it into a Super Bowl. They’ve taken ‘having our number’ to an entirely new level. We look like an incompetent football team playing against them.
Not sure what to make of it, other than I hope we don’t get them in a WC matchup. We did this same shit last year and went all the way, so I’m not gonna say we’re done. But it will be a bad taste in the mouth for a while.
