It's time to finish up our series with the Falcons. Earlier in the year, we won 48-25 after a pair of Pick-6s from Mike Edwards.
The Bucs are coming off their come from behind 38-31 win against the Colts. The Falcons are coming off a 21-14 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars where the Falcons led 21-3 during the 3rd quarter before the Jags made it look closer.
The Bucs are a -11 favorite against the Falcons on the road. The O/U is set at 50.5, and FPI gives the Bucs a 79.3% chance of winning the game.
The tiebreaker this week is...the total yards of WR/RB/S Cordarrelle Patterson. He averages 82.8 YPG.
I always take the Bucball score. Week after week, I watch our guys pass this point. The truth is, I won once by predicting a losing score and it tasted like ashes. So, I hold down the low prediction on the winning side, as part of the game that is predict the score. Go back and look and you'll see me with 10-7 or 13-10 all season long. And if we actually score 30 points and win, I don't mind a bit.

Hell yeah. Here's to us, fellow old-timer.
"So let's get to the point
Let's roll another joint
And let's head on down the road
There's somewhere I got to go..."
This game has me freaked out a bit. Does this AB/Edwards shit grow into a “distraction”, or just die down? Is this the week the Bucs get their collective shit together and put a team away early?
I’m gonna wait till Saturday to make a prediction.

I don't think the AB/Edwards thing snowballs. We have too many veteran leaders for that. AB being forced out is almost a silver lining. He should be 100% for the playoffs. Edwards worries me just because we're one hit away from "Andrew Adams, The Last Line Of Defense."
As for this game, it scares me a bit. Division Game. On the road. Against a Falcons team that's already won more games than many predicted. With the heavweight matchup with the Bills looming. I could see it being a struggle.

I'm more concerned with outside forces that out leadership would have no control over such as pressure to do more than a 3 game suspension or maybe some form of team punishment.

OK, It’s Saturday, so here goes…
I think getting our CB situation back to normal, along with the “next man up” at safety will be just enough to win in a shoot out.
No secondary, drama surrounding the team. Matt Ryan wanting revenge for his lost legacy against Brady. (this is how sports journalists work, stupid shit).
Bucs 42
Falcons 31
Patterson 83
I expect to see Cockrell picked on heavily though.
