It is really as simple as this. In this rivalry, the team that wins the turnover battle wins the game. Unfortunately in 3 of the last 4 games vs Saints we've lost the turnover battle and as a result are 1-3. Forget the stats. Forget who's playing and who's not. Protect the football, we win this game. Don't, we won't.
Some of the other stuff is important to determining that turnover battle. The Saints are built to beat us, they run the ball well against us and their defense is really good at moving Brady off his mark and capitalizing on the bad throws which that creates.
The turnovers are created from pressure and typically great coverage. Protect Brady, run the ball, and that will help us not turn the ball over.
On defense, we have to stop the run or they will control the clock forcing us to push the ball more which will in turn reduce our ability to protect Brady and run the ball.
This game is a coinflip, even with them not having a QB. I was more confident in the Bills game than this one.

Likewise. It really hasn't mattered who they've had at QB over the past few years. Brees, Bridgewater, Winston/Siemian. They are built to stop us and well coached. Don't believe for 1 second Sean Payton isn't going to call run after run because he will. He knows his team and the fact that they are even close to .500 and actually competing for a wildcard is a testament to him.
I agree that the key is to win TO battle but Brady has a 7.3:1 TD: INT ratio at home. That drops to 2:1 on the road.
Bucs average 37.5 pts at home and Saints avg 26.8 on the road. D is allowing 18.5 pts at home and Saints are allowing 24 pts on the road. I think Brady is zoned in and Bucs put up 30 on them and hold them to 23.

Why is Cameron Jordan listed as Out (ESPN)? I know he missed Jets game due to Covid but is he still in the protocol? I suppose if he had to wait the 10 days, it's possible (placed on 11th, game on 19th). That would be huge.

The Saints fans HATE us. They think we are the dirtiest team in the league and that White intentionally took Jameis out for the season.
They also think that we cheat and pay off the refs (mostly Brady).
It's crazy how fans skew things, especially when things aren't going well.
Should be fun.
The Texas, Louisianna, Alabama, Georgia, Florida continuum seems to be the conspiracy capital of the US of A.

10 days is for unvaccinated players
If you're vaccinated it's just 2 negative tests 24hrs apart

You either get tired of sand getting kicked in your face or you don't
Knock on wood, the Bucs are 1 of only 5 teams with no players in Covid protocol. WFT leads with 20 players followed by the Browns (14), Rams (13) and Chargers (11) in double digits.

Lol we are one of the most penalized teams in the league I believe and I don't think Brady has had a single roughing call against him all year which is crazy.

Sean Payton tested positive, won’t be coaching Sunday.
Most important news of the week.
On a side note I have some questions about the accuracy of these tests.
What's the explanation for the huge spike this week
In the case of the WFT, they have a few players on the defensive line that aren't vaccinated (Montez Sweat who isn't vaccinated is the source of the outbreak apparently), which then spread via the special teams meetings. Brian Mitchell is part of a radio show up here, he's been casting a *lot* of shade on the WFT d-line room over this.
