The question is what would be the difference between getting hurt week 3 of PS or week 1 of the regular season? A sense of pride?

Yea just the game mattering vs not mattering. I’m pretty sure I get your overall point though.
An Olympic athlete can get hurt training, or during the gold medal event. But you can’t just not train until you’re going for gold. People get paid a lot to make those risk assessments, and I’ll just sit here and hope for the best.

I think this goes without saying. It just is not reality and never will be.

The less time they are on the field, the less likely they are to get injured. I'd rather not see them get injured in a preseason game but if they get injured in a reg season game, it still sucks but at least it was in a game that matteredBootz wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 8:22 am So if Evans or Egbuka or Baker get injured week 1, it would be better for us because it happened during the season and not the 3rd preseason game?
Ive always been amused by fans who believe players are somehow more prone to injuries in the preseason and the last week or 2 of the season. Yet they're all good to go during the other 4 months of the season.

If I was a jersey nerd I’d have kept it. Would be rare to have and a neat collector’s item for sure. Especially if he has a great career.

And if you could get him to sign it. Priceless.Grahamburn wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 5:38 pmIf I was a jersey nerd I’d have kept it. Would be rare to have and a neat collector’s item for sure. Especially if he has a great career.

I am a little surprised how small he looks next to Evans

This just in. Only two players have scored the game winning TD in their first career game since the NFL/AFL merger in 1970. Ebuka is one of them

Evans is a unicorn. They don't grow 6'5" 230 pound WRs on trees.Babeinbucland wrote: ↑Sun Sep 07, 2025 8:31 pm I am a little surprised how small he looks next to Evans
