It's hard for any team without a franchise starter to argue against pursuing Watson.

As far as the Eagles, I would say that Hurts is good enough to keep them competitive, but he isn't good enough to get them over the hump into dominance. It's sometimes worse to have a B starter like that, because it prevents you from making bold moves to pursue A talents.
