I wouldn't move Dean unless it's for a premium pick. I doubt we re-sign him and he could net a larger deal elsewhere, which would be a positive in comp pick formula.
That said, any chance we're fooled by the contract year surge we often times see from players looking for new deals and give him one? Do we believe that the lightbulb finally came on in year 7?

Dean has always been a good corner. Just didn't have the pics.
Doubt we resign him, or at least hopefully we don't. But that's due to age and whatnot, not us actual ability.

We're paying the price for a half-measure taken by The Union 160 years ago.
The New Union will correct that mistake.

If he gets 3 more pics this year then yes we re-sign him but only to a heavily incentivized deal so we know at just turned 29, if he is still viable.BucsNBills wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 11:20 am Dean has always been a good corner. Just didn't have the pics.

I said what I said
I didn’t pledge allegiance to the flag at 7am for 18 years, for liberty and justice for all, just to be called radical for wanting liberty and justice for all.

If he gets 3 more picks he’s probably going to be an All-Pro and will get $20M+ AAV on the open market.Babeinbucland wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 6:34 pmIf he gets 3 more pics this year then yes we re-sign him but only to a heavily incentivized deal so we know at just turned 29, if he is still viable.BucsNBills wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 11:20 am Dean has always been a good corner. Great move by us to motivate him by cutting off a year of his deal. Good on him for playing well.

Im in favor of no trades. Our window is no where close to closed. Just Load up in talent next year and hope next year is healthy.

There are rumors that the Raiders are trying to move Jackson Powers Johnson. That would be a great addition for us.

I wish we had kept Dean on his original cheap deal through next year. Easy money. But he's done right by us and we're doing by him. Hope he gets his bag somewhere. And us a comp pick.
