Didn't clear up as much as I hoped, but I can't pass up this chance to see Brady. I had a couple other games this year on my radar, and it didn't work out. I'd regret skipping this.Deja Entendu wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 11:48 amI’ll be there with my son. Fingers crossed on the forecast.
This season has worked pretty perfectly for me to make games. This will be my fourth game this season (Eagles, WFT, and Bills) — personal record! Thinking I may try to make it to a playoff game, too. It’s been an expensive season haha
Week 17 2021 Bucs @ Jets Discussion

Looks like we'll have both Brown and Evans for the game.

That reads like healthcare now has full unobstructed power over the NFL now.
Re: Week 17 2021 Bucs @ Jets Discussion
Hopefully Evans can get his 1k yards between these next two games. Eight 1k yard receiving seasons in a row to begin a career will likely be a record that holds for some time.
Re: Week 17 2021 Bucs @ Jets Discussion
One of Mike's catches today to get his thou, he will elevate 23 inches to snatch the ball for a big yard completion.
Re: Week 17 2021 Bucs @ Jets Discussion
When Brady's Patriots played the Jets twice in 2019, they held the Jets to 2 for 23 on 3rd down.
Basically Brady just managed the offense for 2 blowout wins.

I think this is going to be a murderfest. We'll sack Zack Wilson 5 or so times, get a pick or three, and the offense should put up at least 30 points. All hail Mr. Braggadocious Comrade. Bless all the knees.

AB has about 5-6 performance incentives that are worth $333k each he is on the cusp of reaching.
So he can earn close to $2M over the next 2 weeks.
I'd bet he plays.

Haha I hear ya! I still haven’t returned to baseline.
If you crossed paths with a dude in a white Sapp creamsicle and a kid in an Evans jersey that was us. Bucs fans (and Brady converts) showed out today for sure!
It was my son’s first real game (he went to a Bucs v Eagles preseason game), so I treated him with primo seats: second row in the center of the endzone. Got him an Evans jersey for Christmas and was hoping it’d draw Mike over after a TD... wrong endzone though.
The people in front of us left a few mins early, so we were front row for the game winning drive. What an absolutely incredible first game to see.
Edit: oh and talk about spoiled. At the kid’s first game, he got a glove from VJ (RIP). Today, JTS took a selfie with his phone... and he got to see Brady do what Brady does.

We were in the 2nd deck, 10 yard line to your right. We had a nice view of the game winning drive. But not as nice as yours. Sweet seats.

Nice!
If you, or any of the Florida peeps, have a screen shot of that, I’d love to have it. The game wasn’t televised up here for me to record.
Closest I got so far is being able to see me (aka a white blur) when Brady throws the game winner. Would be cool to have a print of us for my son.

This same Jets team beat the #1 seed Titans (w/ Henry) and the Bengals (#3 seed).
This has been a crazy season with plenty of mind blowing upsets. Any given Sunday. Not this Sunday. GOAT with his 5th game winning drive of the season.

That's not a point lost on us lowly JETS fans. They do show up for big games but haven't learned how to win yet. Most of JETS Nation are thrilled how the game turned out. Played well enough to win, but kept the 4th draft position. They need so much more to be competitive.
