Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South

I love #winning

Anyway…. Division Champions! Don’t celebrate yet.

I think he's right. That 182-yard day against the Bears got us close, but we were still averaging under due to some horrid games - particularly a measly 35 against the Rams. We just got over the hump.

Punctuation was the issue? Shocking
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
Is anyone else waiting for Brady to not get up on one of these scrambles?
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
AB put Jenna Lane in her place during his press conference. Pretty funny stuff.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
Not surprising that YOU of all people felt this way.
AB unfortunately sounded like same old AB. He wasn't sorry about what happened. He was sorry he got caught committing a felony and getting away with it. And he placed the blame on the media.
It's really disappointing but let's play football. Honestly whoever on the Bucs PR team thought it was a good idea to get him in front of the media needs to be fired.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
Meh, she was doing her job, which is to ask difficult questions. A lost art in most media these days where reporters throw softballs just to get a few quotes for a pre-written story.
I find Jenna annoying AF personally, but she hustles at her job which I respect.
AB was there to talk about the game, he doesn't have to answer any other questions. He could have/should have left it at that without the victim nonsense.

mmm Christmas cookies!
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
Walk the plank goes to TJ Rives. I was driving back to FL from NC, so could only listen to game. Post game locker room interview
TJ: what a great day for you, tell us about that 55 yard TD scamper
WHITEHEAD: ain’t me… wrong guy
TJ: sorry, there’s been some confusion on who we were getting to talk to today
WHITEHEAD: so we all look the same?!? (No, he didn’t really say that)
If you’re THE locker room reporter, the only one (literally) allowed in the locker room, you really should know all the players faces IMO.
Other than that, game was great

Anything to this? Brady didn't have the captain C this weekend. Has that happened at all this year? Honestly haven't noticed one way or another.

It was torn from his clothing and he was tied to the mainmast where he received 20 lashes for his failure to run the offense up to it standards last week.

I’ve talked a lot of shit about Antonio Brown in the last couple years but can’t help but like the guy watching the press conference. His get down is hilarious. Million dollar smile.

Unless someone else had it on offense, it's a non-story. Not every team has players wear them. Knowing how Tom is, likely was something he did to motivate himself after the Saints game.ATrain wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 9:07 am Anything to this? Brady didn't have the captain C this weekend. Panthers are having a "potentially significant" outbreak of COVID following yesterday's game. We had a coach test positive this morning, but it's possible our numbers could increase this week.
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
Maybe the entire team can get it. We clinched the division already. Have everyone immunized for the SB run and 1.5 weeks of rest. Let’s goooo
Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
I didn't get to see the game live...was out with friends celebrating post-Christmas together. Watched the YT highlights. The defense sure looked impressive. That Vaughn 50+ yard TD run was awesome. Also, I have to say the Panthers truly suck. It was fun seeing their QB's on the ground so often.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
So what's the smarter play? Keep trying to improve seed position by playing starting and hoping for other teams to lose. Or just shut everything down for the most part and get all our starters tons of rest and protect vs injuries?
I'm a bit torn honestly.

Re: Rapid Reactions Week 16: Bucs win the NFC South
How much rest are you talking about? If you mean holding healthy guys out of games completely, I'm totally against that idea.

She's doing another overly dramatic troll job.
We aren't "resting" anybody with 2 games to go and with the chance to improve seeding. Fans might have convinced themselves that seeding doesn't matter. Well, that's the reason they are nothing more than fans. NFL teams know seeding matters a lot. That's why they try to win as much as possible even when they have clinched their playoff spots.

You're reading way too much into what I said. It was an open ended question, but as usual you have to be annoying cunt that tries to pick a fight.King Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 4:09 pmShe's doing another overly dramatic troll job.

Last season with no or minimal fans seeding mattered less but travel is still travel. This season I think seeding is important. While my suggestions to play certain people or not may seem like 'rest them' it is more a statement to not 'rush them back' or put too much stress on lingering injuries.King Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Dec 27, 2021 4:09 pmShe's doing another overly dramatic troll job.
