Tells me they believe Jones is their franchise QB. Joe Judge is next.
Re: Giants fire OC Jason Garrett
I think Jones is the problem.

Re: Giants fire OC Jason Garrett
I think it says that Garrett's a horrible OC, and their OL is among the worst in professional football...Which is another way to say it all starts with Gettleman.King Bootz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 1:46 pm Tells me they believe Jones is their franchise QB. Joe Judge is next.

I think that they will all be gone at the end of the year, including the GM. It's nice to be the team that causes the firings instead of the team doing the firings!

Re: Giants fire OC Jason Garrett
There was a tweet before the game that with their 3-6 record that was the best start the Giants have had since Gettleman became GM in 2018. That's terrible. They need to rebuild from the ground up.
Re: Giants fire OC Jason Garrett
Too bad Daniel Jones doesn't have a guy like Tom Brady to learn from, it could make a difference....
Re: Giants fire OC Jason Garrett
This is why their organization is horrible.
You made a bad selection at QB and your offensive line sucks, so you fire your OC.
Good job, dumbasses.

I agree with your second sentence, not your first. I think Joe Judge is starting to feel the heat and the coordinators are always the first to go when that happens. I can't imagine anyone besides Gettleman believes in Jones at this point. And Judge inherited him.King Bootz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 1:46 pm Tells me they believe Jones is their franchise QB. If I was a Giants fan, I'd have a three point checklist - Firing Garrett (Check), Firing Gettleman (Seems Likely), and moving on from Jones. The only problem with that last one is - what's the alternative this offseason? There isn't one free agent QB in this group who's a surefire starter for anyone at this point (Jameis is probably the closest thing, unless one still believes in Roethlisberger I guess.) This is the worst QB draft class since 2013 at least. Not sure there's one guy actually worth a first rounder based on talent.
They may end up with Jones again just by default.
