We didn't play down to our level of competition, and buried them as the game went on.

That's what good teams do.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Go Bucs.

Offense: Only complaint is we're still throwing 30 yard bombs on 3rd and 2.

Defense: Somehow they only allowed 17 points but their performance overall is much worse than what the score might imply. Bowles needs to do some major adjustments. Can't count on Brady putting up 35 a game to bail out the defense. I know we're banged up but there's some truly bad playcalling and decision making by Bowles that's contributing to the awful defensive play.

Also, reduce the amount of times our best pass rushers drop into coverage by like 90%.

Overall this is the first game we looked like the defending world champs. I think the weight on the Pats game truly effected the team and sucked all the air out of the room. They looked so much more focused and appeared to be having fun.

On to Philly.

While we can all gloat about the final score, this team better make some changes on D. Soon.

I was expecting a big day out of the offense. Man… they delivered. Great offensive showing.

Who would be surprised if the world found out Brady was actually an alien with superior abilities?

Did Brady break a record today? I thought after like his 4th or 5tj TD the announcer at the game was saying something about a record being broken.

They think high ankle sprain. At this point it’s limp through the season and try to have a functional playoff roster. It’s definitely possible with our offense and schedule. Gonna be a slog though.

High ankle sprain for LVD? Time for the tightrope procedure. Let’s go LVD.

What's the recovery time expected for a high ankle sprain? We talking weeks or months here?

We’re so used to great defense here. Impenetrable defense. I’m not sure that exists anymore in the NFL.

They’ve given up 17 points the last two weeks. They’ve created two turnovers in each game. When teams choose to do nothing but throw on us AND the offense continues to put pressure on the opposing team you have a recipe for wins.

All those pass plays create opportunities for sacks, turnovers, and generally negative plays.

I wasn't able to watch much of the game today. But that's a good win against a bad team. Sucks hearing high ankle sprain is being used to describe LVDs injury. Those usually involve some type of fracture.

Depends on the severity. Some are debilitating. Some are minor. Some guys play on it for months and months and it can linger into the next year. New surgical interventions have cut the recovery time down to 3 weeks if players are willing to go under the knife. Returning back 100%.

He'll have more test tomorrow but the initial X-rays were negative

As were the initial X-rays for Gronk. Definitely going to wait for more confirmation after that episode.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda been a fifty-burger...

No complaints this game; Defense could have performed a bit better, but the offense took all of the defensive stress away from this team. If our defense can hold opposing offenses to 17, we won't lose another game.

The defense seemed to ramp up the more the offense scored. Dean was right place/ right time on the pick... just an overall dominant game that we've been waiting to see.

I don't even think this is hyperbole or homerism.

He was already leading the league per pff ratings and he should be even further ahead after today.

Zero turnover worthy pays as well btw. As far as I'm concerned Brady has 0 picks on the year.

I think he's going to lead in passing yards and TDs as well after this weekend. And he's the GOAT.

Brady at 44 years is old is the best QB in the league right now.

Defense still has me concerned, but if our front seven can start finishing plays then I think they will trend in the right direction.

This was a great win though, a 45-17 win in the NFL is always something to be proud of.

Brady's passer rating has to be at least 150 this game.

I think the mdb part is the fact that he correlated this with Bowles getting a HC job next year. Makes no sense.

Brady absolutely deserves to be a leading candidate for MVP. But I think he's going to get overlooked because of all the other shiny new toys in the league.

Plus Brady has been so prolific that even when he has a 400 yard 5TD game, it's kind of expected from Brady or at least unsurprising.

Or, to put it another way, Brady is expected to be great and win, so he has to go over and above what others do to get the game type of attention and hype.

Brady is the reason the team won.
The defense is still a hot mess in the passing game.
