He played well especially considering he just landed in Tampa.

Considering the circumstances, Sherman played fine. No offseason, training camp, or preseason. Not that a vet like Sherman needs a ton of that type of work, but considering he hasn't play football since December and has been limited to personal workouts before last Wednesday it went as expected.

Sherman will be better as he gets in better football shape and more familiar with the defense.

At worst we need him to hold down the fort over the next 4-6 weeks while we play the soft part of our schedule until we can get our CBs back healthy.

At best he'll play well and be part of the mix come December and January. Which will give us 4 CBs to rely on instead of the 3 we had for our SB run last season.

The next 4 QBs we play are;

Tua - Dolphins (30th ranked passing offense)
Hurts - Eagles
Fields/Dalton - Bears (32nd ranked passing offense)
JaMiss - Saints (31st ranked passing offense)

So basically 3 guys with less than a season of starting experience and then JaMiss. All 4 of those teams rely on managing their QB with a ground game, which against the Bucs is tough sledding.

Let's stack some wins and build some momentum come December/January when shit matters

Had to fix the Dolphins one for you. Tua is out with the same injury as Gronk. What they thought were bruised ribs were actually broken ones. And his backup is a big reason the Dolphins are taking steps backward. With their offensive line being a patchwork quilt, Tryon-Shoyinka should have a career afternoon.

Fields actually looked good yesterday. Let's see what he does.

Sherman openly said he needed more time then found himself out there playing all defensive snaps except one.

He’s not what he used to be but I’m personally going to be more patient.

They picked on Sherman a lot throughout the night. The route that kills his style was used quite frequently.
