Buccaneers Vs. the Bye Week

Post by 13F11B »

The Buccaneers will have their bye week. With several key players injured this could be an ideal time to get healthy and make adjustments so the team can put it all together as they move into the second part of the season. What are your thoughts?

Best time to have the bye week this year, opposed to early in the year. Rest and regroup. For us fans, Enjoy other teams beating eachother up.

It'll be close, but I'll take the bye week to cover with a late FG.

We will probably get smoked by Bye Weeks' backup QB.

Bye Week's ILB's are bad in coverage and haven't made ANY splash plays this season...sounds familiar.

It's been reported that Bye Week is not dealing with ANY player injuries. Can we get a scouting report on their training staff?

The "Bye" week always reminds me of my favorite N'Sync song..."Tearin' Up My Heart."
"So let's get to the point
Let's roll another joint
And let's head on down the road
There's somewhere I got to go..."

Bye Week will relegate both Evans and Godwin basically to insignificance. It's like they aren't even in the game.

Should we put them on IR, or are we not exactly sure how long they may be out?

Wouldn’t that be classic #itsabucslife to have our star receiver do something stupid like get hit by a car on his bye week.

Given the drivers in Florida it is VERY risky to be riding a bike.

Wait....Him getting him by a car while riding his bike in the designated bike plan would be stupidity on HIM and not the drivers of the car?

Getting hit by a car on a bike is certainly stupid. No matter who was at fault.

Remember when Ben Roesthlisberer got clipped by that old lady on his motorcycle.

That's like blaming a pedestrian on a sidewalk for getting hit by a car that jumps the curb. That's like blaming the passengers on a city bus if the bus gets t-boned by a semi.

Like I said, you can't make this stuff up.

Was pouring down rain and I remember looking both ways then waking up in an ambulance.

That was not my intent. I will keep this in mind for next season and skip posting any thread to discuss the Bye Week.

Holy smokes, Are you trying to imply that, not only will the Bucs have to face off against Bye-Week, but, somehow, this upstart "Off-Season Stupidity Levels" team is horning in on the act. What, is that some foreign outfit? I know the NFL plays in England, and occasionally Central America, but I can't find this place on the map anywhere.

England? We're talking Antonio and bicycles. This is taking place in Italy for sure.

All I know is, I predicted the Bucs to lose to Bye during the season prediction thread. Thankfully most of my other predictions there have been wrong, hoping this is too.

One serious injury to a starter during practice, though, and I'll call it a TKO for Bye.
