Both Auman and Stroud are saying that according to the team/Arians they haven't been notified of his retirement. Not saying it isn't true, but if that's how he handled it he can go fuck himself. All the talk about not wanting it to be a distraction and all of that shit and he notifies ESPN before the team?
I'm hoping this is just someone in his camp that ran their mouth or something, because at best this was clumsily handles.
Brady earned the right to handle his retirement however he wants.
Sure, and the great thing about living in a free society is that everyone has the right to call literally anyone else on their bullshit. I assumed Brady would handle his retirement like a professional and I'm disappointed to see that I was wrong.

And who will be the favorite in the NFC South now?
If Arians stays it will be the Panthers and Falcons. If Arians retires then there is a chance with the talent Tampa has that they could win the division at 11-6, 10-7. The entire division appears to be a dumpster fire right now. Getting a good coaching staff in place is critical to both short-term and long-term success. Arians IS NOT a long-term answer.
He can say anything he wants to concerning quitting for his family, but I think he quit because we are gonna lose too many weapons, including his OL protection. Winning would just become too hard, and he's bailing out.
At this point, I wouldn't pick up another veteran, except maybe retaining Gabby. Go ahead and rebuild while our division sucks.
My favorite thing about the "Arians is a bad coach" narrative is the fact that he's had success overall in literally every head coaching position he's ever held. He's 80-48 over all for a .624 winning percentage. That's pretty fucking good for an NFL head coach.

The Schefty tweet of his agent's response(almost denying it) makes it seem like Schefty reported too early. Possible that Brady retired, but he didn't want it to come out yet. Someone fucked up.

You're dumb as fuck, too. The Kitty Kats are as much of a dumpster fire as the Yucks now.

Nice board, Mooz.
Thanks for choosing to insult me over my post.

Did you ever consider that someone not authorized leaked this information? I mean, face it, it’s hard to control information these days.
Or, did you consider the rumor that the team wasn’t notified is false?
At least wait until everything is really official and there are no doubts how things went down.

We’re gonna find out just how good he is if Trask is at QB.
I think that depends more on Trask than Arians. If Trask is just a complete dumpster fire then it really doesn't matter who the coaches are. If a QB sucks, they suck.

My original post referencing the situation stated exactly that possible scenario.

Let’s be real, team success correlates far more with how good a QB vs how good a coach is. Not a surprise most ATG coaches partnered with ATG QBs

My problem is not Arians as a head coach. My issue is that his system supposedly takes guys two years to get good in. Brady was the one exception. Couple that with Arians saying he was only going to coach one more year (2022) and I really do not feel like one year of Arians, potentially with new coordinators, is worth it. I think Arians is an excellent coach. I think he treats his people well. I just know he is not long for the coaching gig according to what he has said.

You really do want a beat down don't you little nancy boy.
Even funnier since Pete met me in 1999 and we actually got along. In reality, if he knew who was behind this account and remembered me we would go have another beer.

Only 2 years? Then, coupled with Brady’s tutelage, Trask will be lights out.

Boards are where you go to have a character consume your personality. Some need more than a couple.

Yep. It all good as long as we still support the Buccaneers. We are a family of brothers and sisters who are passionate about a football team. We will fight. We will prank each other. However, if a Saints fan comes in her and attacks someone we will show them the door. For or five times, at least, before we throw them out.

Two years playing. Not two years on the inactive list.

All these guys got "sources", and these sources are paid for information. But, you better be first to report it. Someone in Brady's camp was looking for a payday, in the end they may have the right information, but there's a weasel that is about to get smoked out. There's no way Brady lets his retirement get out like this, just not how he operates.

I wonder who controls the TB12 account. Someone might be a bit red-faced right now.
I don't even know how much Brady has to do with TB12 outside of marketing. It's always seemed more like Guerrero's company to me, just using Brady's name and face.

Well this is awkward. I suppose Tom Brady Jr could easily clarify this with a quick tweet.

He's not obligated to. If anything he can be spending that time deciding instead of clarifying because a bunch of dipshits jumped the gun so they could be the first to break the story. Everyone has clarified he's made no decision.

I meant something more or less "hey everyone I haven't decided one way or another. Source: Me".
