Red wolves and wolves are out according to the team President today. Don’t want licensing or copyright issues with other teams.

It's very EPL.

Re: 2021 NFL Season
Just thought I'd throw this out there...TJ Watt may be having the most dominant defensive season ever, and nobody is talking about it because the Steelers are mediocre and it's Ben's last season.
14 Games, 21.5 Sacks, 4 Forced Fumbles, 3 Fumble Recoveries.
He might be the best player in the NFL right now.

Crazy thing is he's only 12 full games. He was hurt and left early in two of them.MJW wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 12:38 am Just thought I'd throw this out there...TJ Watt may be having the most dominant defensive season ever, and nobody is talking about it because the Steelers are mediocre and it's Ben's last season.

He gets sacks in bunches. 16.5 of his 21.5 sacks came in just 6 games, all multi-sack games. That’s dominant.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 1:08 amCrazy thing is he's only 12 full games. Boomer also said he didn't know what their colors or logo would be. Team has said since the beginning they are keeping the burgandy and gold - plus they released teaser pics of the uniforms.
In the DC sports media, they are saying Armada or Commanders.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
I also like WFT, as others have said. Very unique for the NFL, but really not forced at all because of the inevitable name change. Looks cool on a shirt. That’s too bad it didn’t stick.
I like Redwolves. Or even just the Wolves. Not sure what connection it has to the area. I guess Indians like Wolves.

Oh my. Brad Johnson on local radio right now, talking about the benefits of kids growing up playing games like "smear the queer."

I had no idea what thread to put that it, btw.

They should choose Presidents so we can post JFK pics every time they lose to Dallas

On the Bengals practice squad, is Renell Wren being protected?

Just saw teaser uniform reveal. It looks great. Same color with stars on collars
Re: 2021 NFL Season
With Henry, Julio, and Homefield, should the Titans be the AFC Favorites?

Re: 2021 NFL Season
That answer is based on which Ryan Tannehill you think will show up. The one who beat Patrick Mahomes & Matt Stafford or the one who threw 4 picks at home against the Texans?
He's the Wildcard for them. As long as he doesn't throw the game away, they have a shot
Re: 2021 NFL Season
That's probably correct. If Henry is G2G, they don't need him to be excellent. Just functional. Pound the rock, shorten the game, etc.King Bootz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 12:05 amThat answer is based on which Ryan Tannehill you think will show up. After being mediocre most of the year, the AFC suddenly looks pretty tough, with the Titans healthy, the Chiefs looking like the 2018-2020 model, the Patriots looking a hell of a lot like the early Brady years, and even the Bengals looking legit.
This is one of those things that gets said a lot, but I think it's really true this year - this is going to be a very unpredictable playoff. Of the 14 teams (or who they'll likely be), how many would be shocking to reach the Superbowl? I don't think the Eagles, Saints (if they make it), Raiders (ditto) or Colts (thrice) are up to it. But even a team like the Chargers, with Justin Herbert and those weapons, or the 49ers with Jimmy G playing well, are too outlandish.
With a gun to my head right now, I think it'll be Chiefs-Rams. But I wouldn't be a wooden nickel on that.

Re: 2021 NFL Season
That’s the matchup that comes up the most in my mind when breaking down these playoffs and the possible scenarios. 1-14 though, all of these teams are pretty much as close to the median as you’re going to get. No teams are head and shoulders better than everyone else. No teams are completely hopeless and without a shot to win wildcard weekend.MJW wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 12:18 amThat's probably correct. I’m excited for the playoffs this year because of the unpredictability. This is a year where something like a Cowboys vs Titans or Bucs vs Bengals matchup would shock no one.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
Has Julio Jones done a single thing this year? Fewer receiving yards than Fournette. He is firmly entrenched in Tyler Johnson territory.

I think it is Green Bay, and then everyone else. They do seem like that "head and shoulders" team, at least lately.
But then somewhere in my gut, I feel like they'll have a stupid collapse. Just like I have grown confident in the Bucs winning games they have no business winning, I have confidence in the Pack losing a game they have no business losing.
Re: 2021 NFL Season
Not that I'm wishing for it to happen, but wouldn't it be something if, after all the years of losing as a Lion, Stafford wins the SB his first year away from that team?MJW wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 12:18 amThat's probably correct. Esiason reporting he's heard from a reputable source Rodgers would boycott Superbowl over NFL's covid protocols.
