Wild Card Week Discussion
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Jerry Jones is one of the best owners in football. He's not the knee jerk firing breathing owner fans like to believe he is. He's actually very patient and believes in the philosophy that if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Yet year after year fans try to put their emotions onto the Cowboys. In the same time period where the Bucs have had 7 HCs, Dallas has had just 3.

How many Super Bowl wins do each team have in that same span of time?Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 8:23 pm Jerry Jones is one of the best owners in football. I really like Dan Campbell as a coach. I want him to be successful there.

I also think McVay has done a hell of a job this year getting his team together after losing so many players.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
I think Detroit wins. Rams are kinda fools gold. Credit to them for winning 7 of their last 8 but they kinda caught teams at their worst possible moment.

They're talking like Raheem is the frontrunner for Atlanta if they don't get Belichick. I hope they get Raheem for our sake.

Don't forget that Jerry Jones fired Jimmy Johnson soon after Jimmy had won his second straight Super Bowl for the Cowboys.Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 8:23 pm Jerry Jones is one of the best owners in football. I actually think Raheem might make for a good HC in his second shot. He wasn’t ready when the Glazers forced him into the role. He’s had time to learn and mature in different organizations. I honestly hope he doesn’t end up in Atlanta because I don’t want to cheer for him to fail.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
He also kept Jason Garrett for 10 years and didn't reach the Superbowl at all. And it wasn't 30 years ago either like that JJ Saga was.GreatTimes wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 8:40 pmDon't forget that Jerry Jones fired Jimmy Johnson soon after Jimmy had won his second straight Super Bowl for the Cowboys.Bootz wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 8:23 pm Jerry Jones is one of the best owners in football. I swear it's overused the amount of times fans go into the DISTANT future to try and set precedent for something they believe will happen in the present.

Detroit is firing on all cylinders.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
The Rams just don’t have it tonight
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
What is it they don't have? They've scored on both drives.

Puka is so legit. How did he fall that under the radar?
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Nacua is really good. Let's hope he doesn't become a one-hit wonder.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Man, I really wish that the Bucs had an offense like this.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
People like talking about the Stafford/Detroit thing more but Jared Goff tearing up McVay’s defense in the playoffs after he was traded away has to feel so good for him right now.

Best game of the playoffs
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
What the heck was that play by Gared?
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
The script writers did well this year. Both of their 1st starts in the playoffs. Both teams put up 40+. Both in the state of Texas.
