It's crazy that ME has never made the first team and this is only his second 2nd team.

It’s not that shocking when you think about all the great WRs that have played when Mike has. Mike’s thing has always been more about consistency and TDs than lots of yards. He’s only had two seasons over 1300 yards and this year is his fourth over 1200 in 10 years. He always get his 1K, but he’s rarely near the top of the league in yards. 2018 was his best shot but guys like Julio Jones and DeAndre Hopkins had better numbers and slantboi led the league in catches so he missed out.uscbucsfan1 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 1:36 pm It's crazy that ME has never made the first team and this is only his second 2nd team.
Re: **Official 2023 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Season Thread**
Exactly, he's never had a season where he's near the top of anything except TDs, which is very important. But for WRs, especially great ones, you want the ball in their hands a lot.Miller4Prez64 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 2:50 pmIt’s not that shocking when you think about all the great WRs that have played when Mike has. I appreciate you finding this. When I last checked on it a few years back, I could find absolutely nothing. So I’m happy to see this development. I’ll probably invest in this next year.kaimaru wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 6:21 pmThis shows how much bullshit you're peddling. Yeah, we will see. I'd love to have access to All-22 college film. From all my research, it's treated like the nuclear codes. More or less impossible to get your hands on unless you're an NFL scout or working for a college program. It's the only way to have a truly educated opinion. So, that sucks.

Would someone please post the Philadelphia Eagles' inspirational video from their main website philadelphiaeagles.com? It reeks of desperation to me, but I'd like some others to discuss it. On this computer I cannot link.

All eyes will be on Mayfield's injury status. If he is hurt, don't play him. If Mayfield starts tomorrow, it should reveal what you know about Trask.

If Baker isn't debilitated or limited by his injuries he starts. It's as simple as that. He practiced this week, team had to give an injury designation by rule, but he is 100% starting this game tomorrow. 100%.

Which is why Evans may not be elected to the HOF. I believe he does belong in the HOF, but I don't have a vote. There is a limited number of slots open for the HOF each year. Those who do vote, vote for their hometown players. Tamps is underrepresented in the HOF voting. If Evans played for the Dallas Cowboys he would stand a much better chance of getting elected into the HOF.Miller4Prez64 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 2:50 pmIt’s not that shocking when you think about all the great WRs that have played when Mike has. Trask is not better than 50 percent Mayfield period. End of discussion.

Re: **Official 2023 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Season Thread**
You fucking nerds. It’s simple, and to whit -
Baker led this team from a projected top ten pick to a playoff berth.
Baker played at a level MUCH higher than anticipated, and had career statistics.
Team members have been vocal that they bought into his leadership and play style.
In 99.634% universes in the multiverse, Baker Mayfield is the unquestioned best choice under center.
Get a grip.

Yeah… this, and I’m a Baker hater. I’m also not in the building. Do I want Baker next year, no. Will he be here? Does it rain in South Florida afternoon summer days?Rocker wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 1:32 am You fucking nerds. It’s simple, and to whit -

I’m not happy about it, but I get it.
When Baker is on, he’s a top 10 qb in this league. When he’s off, he’s bottom 5. I just see him shrinking in this game. Maybe it’s bc I’m a “glass is 90% empty” dude when it comes to my sports teams. Maybe it’s bc Baker isn’t the savior some people think he is.
Either way, he’s the dude tonight, and at least for next year for our team, like it, or hate it.

Re: **Official 2023 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Season Thread**
Tristan Wirfs and Baker Mayfield were just added to Pro Bowl roster with guys dropping out. Mike Evans won’t participate, sadly looks like AWJ won’t get the Pro Bowl he deserves for the 2023 season.

He’s an all pro. All that matters.
