Sad that we're kind of worried about a team that just got shut out by a team we blew out. Yet, here we are. LFG!
The "we" are cynical people. Anyone reasonable is expecting a win. Vegas line is -3.5, meaning they don't see it being a FG game.
We win comfortably.
What was the line last week? Oh, yeah. -2.5 so... they expected the Buccaneers to win by roughly a field goal. The Buccaneers lost by 10 and in reality, the game was not even that close.
Yeah, betting lines are SO much a factor in predicting the results.
Another @Bootz take that lacks... well... any common sense.
Gambling lines are basically the best guess at a game's outcome which is arrived at by group consensus. No one is foolish for quoting them as a data point when trying to talk about that consensus.

Vegas opening line was -6, so the general public is down on us…

Jags are out. Steelers & Bills clinch. The AFC playoff teams are set. Only thing to be determined is if Miami or Buffalo win the AFC East.
Bills and Phins okay again next week no matter what?

I'm really surprised the Jags ended up getting eliminated. Just a few short weeks ago, they were gunning for their division's title. Crazy how they imploded.

Only if Miami wins tonight.
If Buffalo wins tonight, Miami will be the 6th seed and will travel to Kansas City.
What's worse is Dennis Allen says he didn't know the team was gonna do this. Players went rogue according to him. So either he's throwing his team under the bus or they don't respect him.
I said this last week and I continue to say it…Brian Daboll is proving this year more than last year why he is a great coach. All those injuries they’ve dealt with, they’re so weak at WR and OL, and they just have done nothing but compete and play their butts off. They could have packed it in easy like the Patriots and some other teams have, but they are fighting like hell.
Usually the Saturday games are the weaker ones. The Saturday night Peacock game prolly gonna be either us vs Philly or Cle-Hou. My guess is we are first game Saturday at 4:30.

Oh Smith did curse him put
Yeah…that was bush league shit. Next time these 2 teams play each other will be interesting to see. I know that’s months from now, but it won’t be forgotten.

Next time these guys play each other it may be as coordinators not head coaches.
Good thing about this Eagles/Giants game, the Bucs are getting some recent film on Mariota. If Hurts can’t go next week, they need to be ready to his backup.
