I look forward to our “We are better than random team not in our conference” banner being hung up after tonight.

That's his thing apparently. He's mentioned Jameis Winston and now the Broncos. Guess it makes him feel betterMiller4Prez64 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:11 pmI look forward to our “We are better than random team not in our conference” banner being hung up after tonight.
Most hated man in America.

Yeah, we aren't a very good football team. I figured that already, but I'm looking for some consistency in coaching. Keep the train on the tracks and maybe some of these rookies will develop.

I mean... Most teams look like that vs the Eagles. That is their strength. Maybe a strategy we should consider investing in the draft.Bahamian:bucfan wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:10 pm The oline and dline played like hot garbage tonight!

Building good offensive and defensive lines is important. Playing to their strengths is as well. The Eagles do both.Central_Buc wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 10:15 pmI mean... I guess I don’t take a lot of consolation in not being in last place in a league of 32 teams. But I hear what you’re saying.Central_Buc wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:34 pmThe reality is... we are still a solid team with a good defense and alot of players still left from our SB team. A solid contender (not SB contender)
To think we'd be a last place team... That was unrealistic.

The National media all off season kept feeding this narrative about us being this last place team. I get that their point was mostly because of the question at QB. But even if we get average QB play with alot of injuries we are a mediocre 8-9 or 9-8, at worst. Last year was a shit show, I believe we would have finished better than 8-9 if not for off field distractions.Snake wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:40 pmI guess I don’t take a lot of consolation in not being in last place in a league of 32 teams. I dont understand the National media narrative about this team. We have elite players on both sides of the ball in important positions.

Our biggest issue currently is QB and depth. This team could, with luck regarding injuries, be a 10-win team.Central_Buc wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:50 pmThe National media all off season kept feeding this narrative about us being this last place team. Depth I agree there. If we invest in Baker and Evans next year, we really need the draft.13F11B wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:52 pmOur biggest issue currently is QB and depth. This team could, with luck regarding injuries, be a 10-win team.Central_Buc wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:50 pm

But I still honestly believe Baker can provide us a good season. A bad game or 2 doesn't change that.

I will agree with that. Brady had bad games too.Central_Buc wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 11:55 pmDepth I agree there. If we invest in Baker and Evans next year, we really need the draft.
