Pretty fun first two days. It’s nice having a sport to watch all day. Think about it; these events are played year round too. Why does Cable TV not just pick them up year round?

Is it me or are we (USA) not dominating the swimming pool like we used to? Seems like every Olympics we are dominating the golds and this year I’m seeing a lot of silver and bronze while Australia and even France getting a lot of the gold. I feel like Marchand has more golds alone than all our swimmers combined.

The last day we came on strong. We did well on relays and long distance but we didn't dominate the individuals like we used to.

Same with beach volleyball. We always seem to win gold there and I think we're out of it already.

It's unwatchable, especially with the announcers and "MC" up there yelling Hey! Whoa! Yeah! every time they do something utterly mundane. I turned it off.

china leads 34-33. Of course women’s, men’s basketball, and Women’s Soccer are to be played today but this is a testament to where we need our athletes to focus.

I’m not saying put money into Badminton… but even events we’ve dominated haven’t been there this year.

Flag Football in 2028 is a lose lose. If we don’t win Gold it’ll be embarassing.

As cool as it will be to see NFL’ers thinking they are good at Flag… they are two different games. Players who are shifty will be rewarded.

I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care which country wins the most Olympic medals. We rarely win the most Winter Olympic medals (we were 3rd in 2022) and no one seems to mind. Why should the Summer Olympics matter more?
