54 points allowed through 2 games? Yikes! Tighten up, defense.
Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
The Colts are the best 0-2 team in Football by a long margin.
Trevor Lawrence is learning pretty rapidly on the fly. Hard lessons too.
I'm eager to see how the Panthers play the Texans. They've been a hard out.

What? The Colts suck. Wentz is who we thought he was. Their defense hasn't been good. 20 ppg so far on offense. They are what their record says they are.
Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
Seahawks/Rams as their two starting opponents. And a freak ankle rollup on a tackle by Donald ends Wentz day and the Colts hope. They dominated the fucking Rams, Bootzie. Dominated. The Rams Red Zone D is legit, and the playcalling may have been questionable for the Colts inside the 5.King Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 3:41 pmWhat? The Colts suck. They're not the Giants bad, they're not the Jaguars bad, They're not the Jets bad, They'd kick the shit out of the Falcons... and whoever loses tonight will be 0-2... Bootz you just like being incendiary. You most likely didn't watch the Rams/Colts game. I happened to have watched that game. Red Zone was my background noise for that one.

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
How many INTs does Wilson have to throw before he gets benched in NYJ
Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
Not sure if that number exists. The team seems committed to let him work through it. He’s the future….allegedly.

He’s pressing big time. I think long term he’ll be okay. But for now he’s not seeing the field well at all. This unfortunately is kind of what happens when you come from BYU to the NFL in less than a year.

gotta be honest, after the incredibly educational posts today, i’ll be trying to figure out who’s “FULLY black” and who is “melanin deficient.” the game might be ruined for me.Primeminister wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 3:36 pm So many QB injuries this past week. We've scored more points than the Falcons and the Saints put together.

Maybe the Jets should copy the Saints gameplanPrimeminister wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 9:50 pmYou stick with him for the year. Call a conservative game and help the kid take easy passes. That being said I think once you start the rookie it’s no going back.

AFC West is the best division in football it looks like.
Let's see if Carolina can ride to 3-0 this Thursday.
Bucs-Rams might be a NFCCG preview. Game of the Week imo.

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
I think week three will be very interesting. Maybe not the football but this board is already entertaining in ways Benny Hill never was.

Honestly, I think this week will be a big test for both the Rams and the Buccaneers. Some people have been saying the Buccaneers have a shot at an undefeated season. This Rams game is one of the games those people had circled as a true test. There were many who thought the Rams would have defeated the Buccaneers last season had they played. Big game!

I don’t think this team is good enough to go undefeated. I think we will win 13 games this year due to the defense not playing lights out football.

I'm a fan of Heinicke so I'll be following that storyline closely this year. What a great win to start it off. I hope the legend continues.
The rest of the division has gotten more fun too. Hurts and Smith are exciting and that boys can put up points- tho neither have a defense.
Dolphins are a week 3 storyline to watch. Counting on Tua was already shaky enough, now you have to count on his "toughness to play thru pain" too? Yikes. Do they finally make the move for Watson? We talked about the short leashes staff of color have in the NFL, and here you got a HC and a GM with what may soon be three playoff-less years. If you think you're job is on the line why not trade away the future picks, not like you'll be here for the aftermath if it doesn't work out.
The NFC West is just brutal and it's not even in its final form.

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
I knew the 49ers would be tough. They suffered from too many injuries last year. Seattle is always in mix as long as Wilson is QB. Arizona is a pleasant surprise. I am still on the fence about the Rams. Don't get me wrong. Defense is legit, I just watched Stafford choke in every meaningful game in Detroit. (Admittedly this was closer to the beginning of his career.) They could have beat the Packers in 2014 for the division and lost. His first two playoff appearances I don't count 2016 because, well they backed into the playoffs. They went from 9-4 to 9-7, and no one expected them to win. 2011 they lost to the Packers twice and Saints twice. He had 8 ints in those 4 games.Doctor wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 2:45 pm I'm a fan of Heinicke so I'll be following that storyline closely this year. What a great win to start it off. Now Peyton Manning had a rep of choking when he was with Tennessee, so who knows now. I will just believe it when I see it.

I hope we see him playing more corner this week. Edwards needs to be on the field more. I’ve never seen a player do so much with as few snaps as he gets.

After 2 games as a Saint we do not have enough data to extrapolate a conclusion about Jamies Winston. After 2 games as a Colt we can ascertain that Carson Wentz is not a good QB. Logic.
Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
Carson looks pretty good, but as Pat Mcafee said, he doesn't care about his body.accidentw8ing2happen wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 1:58 pm After 2 games as a Saint we do not have enough data to extrapolate a conclusion about Jamies Winston. Fools gold if you actually are buying them as a threat. Put this in perspective. They played a terrible Jets team with a rookie QB in his 1st start, a Saints team with a depleted offense, and now a terrible Texans team starting their rookie 3rd string QB. Wake me up when they play an average team.Jason Bourne wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 8:52 pm Carolina is our biggest threat to winning the division . Matt Rhule is putting together a good team

They will most likely be 3-0 after tonight , losing McCaffery definitely hurts them. Point is Matt Rhule is a really good coach and I think he will turn the team around .King Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 9:16 pmFools gold if you actually are buying them as a threat. Lovie looks old AF as DC if the Texans
