Will a consensus happen? I'm curious to know how people see things. It's been forever since we've heard about someone getting beat out in camp. Unless they were sleeping in their car.
That's because it's been years since we've had many open/competitive spots on the roster going into camp season. The most recent I can recall is Rojo vs Fournette the past 2 offseasons.

A consensus will definitely happen.
This'll obviously be a bit more clear (maybe?) in 5 days, but the headliners right now:

QB2/QB3 - Trask vs Gabbert vs Griffin, with the loser almost certainly off the roster.
RB2/RB4 - Fournette is the starter, Bernard is the 3rd down guy. Will Vaughn be the #2? Will we draft or sign someone for that role?
Wide Receiver Behind Evans and Gage (and eventually Godwin) - Quite a battle royale here, with Scotty, Perriman, Grayson, Tyler Johnson, Jaelen Darden, and a few no-names, competing for 2-3 spots.
Every Tight End spot behind Brate - Obviously, Gronk coming back will clarify things a bit.
Every Backup OL Spot - 4 of 5 are set, with Stinnie the favorite for the last spot. But otherwise, it's a free for all.
The Suh Spot/Backup DL - Suh coming back answers one question. Nacho has a job. Behind those guys and Vea? Who knows?
ILB3 - Britt is likely the favorite, unless we re-sign Minter, but he'll have to fend off Stuard and anyone else we might bring in.
Backup Rush Linebacker - Nelson vs Gill for snaps, and there's probably one more job in play there.
CB4/CB5 - Cockrell will probably be the 4th corner, but not necessarily, and there will be a camp battle if we want to carry 5.
Returner - As always around here. When's the last time we had things settled there? Karl Williams?
"So let's get to the point
Let's roll another joint
And let's head on down the road
There's somewhere I got to go..."

No worries, we'll draft a 5'7" "shifty" speedster from some school you've never heard of.

Last year wasn't perfect (dare I say the word regression?) but I expect Devin White will bounce back. I think he was playing hurt after that quad injury, didn't look like the same guy, and we apparently had to adjust the defense a bit when LVD went on injured reserve.

I'm fine with giving White his fifth year extension. He's been a good player, with flashes of greatness in spurts. Here's hoping for more consistency over time.

And he'll fall down more than Joe Cocker.

(Boomers will get that reference.)

I am not a fan of the Saints getting better. After our solid draft I'm hopefull that Licht will round out the roster with some good one year mercenary deals. Adding someone like Clowney would fill out the pass rush while also giving good run defense. I'm not very confident in the receiving depth so adding a 4th receiver would make me feel more confident about Brady having good receiving options all year long.

At this point he's a name.

He wasn't good last year and the Chiefs didn't want to bring him back on a cheap deal.

There's a reason he's lasted as long as he has.

Here's another.

Can any comparison be made between Leo Chenal and Zaven Collins playing the ILB position?

Yep. Smoke Monday is the type of safety the Saints love. Hard hitting.

It all depends on Winston. If he is a better version of himself then we have a problem. I know Bucs fans don’t believe he could be better, but that Saints squad was tough to beat without decent QB play.

The wildcard is whether the new coach is as good as Catface. If he isn’t then it may all fall apart.

DAMN. That’s a massive hit. Between this and Kyler’s bitching the Cardinals are having a horrible off-season.

Doesn’t the NFL only test like 1 week a year or something? How TF did he fail?

Curious as to when this test was performed, because it doesn't make much sense for teams to approve of the league administering tests the week after the NFL draft. He likely failed a test in March and the league kept failed tests out of the press so that teams could react accordingly without losing leverage (see: Marquise Brown trade with Baltimore having been orchestrated last week).

It’s not a drug test, it’s an IQ test.

The NFL doesn’t want to catch anyone. He screwed up.

They had a great draft, but Honey Badger hasn't been a great player in 3 years. He was good 2 years ago and was bad last year.

I do believe the annual testing is in March, so this would make sense.

The NFL has the right attitude towards PEDs: performative discipline. This was an absolute boneheaded move.
