A bit of a separate topic, but I really don't like the direction college football is going.

1) I hate the transfer portal. HATE IT. I don't think you should just be able to have the freedom to sign with a school and say, "Hey, I don't like it here. Let me go somewhere else where I can make some money." I think the one-year penalty should still stand for anyone wanting to transfer.
2) The conferences--I hate this even more. So in essence, we have two super conferences with like 20 teams and that's it. SEC will likely add Clemson and FSU in the coming years. Notre Dame is still out there flirting with the Big 10. Not only that, there are no divisions, so we could get Ohio State-Michigan the week after they play.
3) Not a fan of the 12-team playoff. I think I would enjoy this more if there weren't these super conferences. Everything seems so disorganized right now with these conferences. Schools like USC and UCLA have to travel cross-country like 5 times in a 10-week period...and don't forget, they have school to go to as well. I've always been a proponent of the 6-team idea, with 1 and 2 getting byes or an 8-team. I think 12 is too many.
