In addition to Payton being out, both tackles (Armstead and Ramczyk) are out.

AWJ listed as questionable but he wasn't healthy enough to practice all week. The healthiest units this week are the Bucs offense and Saints defense.
Re: NO @ TB Week 15 Discussion
Two backup tackles for the Saints is huge. We need to take advantage.

I think the last time we faced a team missing both OTs was the Super Bowl and we all know what happened then. Certainly helps us a lot.

So the vaccine didn't isolate the "outbreak" to the dirty unvaxxed Dlinemen, but had they been vaccinated those Dlinemen wouldn't have got Covid!!Pirate Life wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:09 pmIn the case of the WFT, they have a few players on the defensive line that aren't vaccinated (Montez Sweat who isn't vaccinated is the source of the outbreak apparently), which then spread via the special teams meetings. Brian Mitchell is part of a radio show up here, he's been casting a *lot* of shade on the WFT d-line room over this.

No, it didn't. Because no vaccine is 100% effective and antibody immunity (natural or from a vaccine) fades over time for pretty much every disease. There's a reason that new flu vaccines come out every flu season.Dread wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 5:24 pmSo the vaccine didn't isolate the "outbreak" to the dirty unvaxxed Dlinemen, but had they been vaccinated those Dlinemen wouldn't have got Covid!!Pirate Life wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:09 pm

Dread is one of those ambiguous anti-vax conspiracy buffs who don’t have the balls to say they are anti-vax. He also thinks it’s weird that the league would actually consider imposing penalty on unvaccinated people who cause outbreaks. It’s like saying an uninsured person who causes an accident shouldn’t be held responsible for damages because they don’t have insurance.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 6:02 pmNo, it didn't. Interesting...
Fwiw I don't care who is vaccinated and who isn't. It's lemmings like you who buy into the media fed division of "anti-vax vs vaccinated". As if you're to obtuse to realize the game being played.
I don't view unvaccinated people as a threat is all and thus push back when they are shamed. Because of that opinion I get called anti-vax by smart people like yourself.

If so I'd say that's progress

Do you still believe that these variants only develop/mutate among the unvaccinated still?Pirate Life wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 6:02 pmNo, it didn't. Re: NO @ TB Week 15 Discussion
Brady does not get roughing calls, period. I can't remember the last time that penalty was called for him and I followed the Pats the whole time he was there. If you have any doubt that Roger Goodell is a corrupt piece of crap, just look at how often that penalty gets called when Brady is the QB - it doesn't.BLT wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 2:13 pmLol we are one of the most penalized teams in the league I believe and I don't think Brady has had a single roughing call against him all year which is crazy.uscbucsfan wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 2:37 pm The Saints fans HATE us. They think we are the dirtiest team in the league and that White intentionally took Jameis out for the season.
They also think that we cheat and pay off the refs (mostly Brady).
It's crazy how fans skew things, especially when things aren't going well.
Should be fun.

I've never said they only mutate in the unvaccinated, sorry if I triggered you.
That being said, mutations occur more often due to unvaccinated people (this is true for all diseases). This is simple mathematics and probability. More infected people means more mutations. Vaccinated people have less of a chance to get the disease and if they do, tend to get over it more quickly since their body already has antibodies. Unvaccinated people are simply sicker for a longer period of time (on average). That means the virus is replicating more 'generations' in the sicker person, which means more chances for a mutation to occur.
Here's some articles that may help:

https://hub.jhu.edu/2021/07/19/andrew-p ... -variants/
https://reliefweb.int/report/world/two- ... d-vaccines
If you want a good example of this and why vaccines protect us, look at polio. The poliovirus mutates at one of the highest rates we know of, yet it is virtually eradicated due to vaccination and herd immunity.

Re: NO @ TB Week 15 Discussion
I guess you missed the part about no vaccine being 100% effective at preventing illness. Closest we have is the MMR vaccine, it's 99.7% effective. Or the chicken pox vaccine that is 100 % effective at preventing moderate or severe illness from the virus.Dread wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 8:17 pmAnother not 100% effective vaccine, amirite?Pirate Life wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 8:10 pm

The NBA and NHL are also experiencing recent outbreak spikes as well. December has not been a kind month for Covid-era sports lol.
Makes you wonder if the leagues may move to the bubble games they did last year if it gets worse.

Bubble games would be awesome. Rules out home-field advantage to a large degree and would make an enormous difference for us if we don't get the one seed.

Why do football related threads always get infested with this covid crap. Maybe start a covid thread for all you scientists. Keep that crap out of here. No one is convincing anyone of anything.

I agree with your last sentence. But, because in this case it directly pertains to both the Buccaneers and the NFL at large, thread stays put. Sorry, not sorry. Thanks all that took the time to ping the mod team and the mod team for pinging me.
I’m all Nancy Pelosi up in this bitch.

Don't think they have a lot of choices, looks like if anyone gets dinged up during the game they will have to use guards.
