Now, the defense has to make a statement play and give the offense an injection of emotion. A turnover would be a good kick starter.

Credit where it's due, but the Colts only have 8 total yards of offense halfway through the first quarter.

This team just looks and feels like a zombie brigade a lot of the time.

The look in guys' eyes and the general body language has a distinct whiff of Jay IDGaF Cutler.

I don't know what is going on. I can break football down all day long but there is something else happening right now that is difficult to figure.

Maybe there is a little bit of shellshock happening from the injuries? Maybe something else.

But while the play looks bad...the Jay Cutlerization looks and feels a hell of a lot worse.

Colts got away with a false start but at least they failed to catch the ball too.

I don’t think Nelson looks like he did on that second down very often. Vea is a fucking wall, Taylor just bounced off him.

Great D so far. Offense needs to do something.

The defense is playing well. Three offensive series, 10 yards allowed.

The offense just needs to get some rhythm and confidence. Stack up yards and first downs.

Personally, when I run into this, I take my offense aside and tell them that we're going heavy with the run and play action. Get a few rhythm runs, then playaction rollouts away from the run action to make easy pitch-and-catch with my tight ends.

But Leftwich is a bird of a different feather, and running it seems to be against his religion.

We can't get to the perimeter. Wirfs got rocked on that second down run, got blown up so Jensen had to redirect.

Scooter not a very good gunner. A slight breeze can knock him over.

The offensive gameplan this week has been cheeks. If anything, we're playing to the Colts strengths.

Literally every time we bring RoJo in we give him back to back carries. The 1st is always like a 6 yarder, the 2nd there’s no where to go. So predictable.

Mike Edwards is a baller.

While I love me some Jordan Whitehead, I think Edwards is taking his job next year.

Something we need to do more of.

Ya know, running our offense shouldn't be THAT hard. We have some many offensive options that it shouldn't be rocket surgery.

11 personnel (1 running back, 1 tight end, 3 receivers). If MOFC (middle of field closed, which is a one-safety look), and/or the box is loaded, pass the ball to one of our stud receivers in space. If the safeties are MOFO (middle of field open, split safeties), and/or box is open, run it to keep the defense honest.

We shouldn't need Brady magic to get yards with our guys. And yet.

Should they go for it on 4th if they don't get the TD?

Good TD, even better to have the lead.

If our defense keeps playing well, we should be good. More offensive points should help though.

Great drive. Stupid hit by the Colts player on the sneak. Now the defense can add a pick 6 and we can all start feeling a little more comfortable about the momentum.
