On that TD run, it was more offensive execution than defensive screwup. They blocked up an inside zone very well, Gibbs made a hell of a read and cut to get into the right gap, burst through it, Winfield was the only guy who could stop him, Winfield was flat-footed in the open field against a very explosive player, Gibbs made a move and it was a footrace to the end zone. I love Winfield, but he ain't the fastest dude on the field and the overwhelming majority of defenders in the same situation against the same guy would also be in trouble.

Great play by the Lions. I'm disappointed they sprung it, but I ain't mad at anyone.

That drive was 100% on Bowles for failing to adjust to the fact the Lions have picked up nearly every Buc blitz today. The zone D aint working when that OL gets Goff that much freakin time. Oh well. It aint over, but it’s a little late in the day to make an adjustment.
