We are getting too cute for our own good, and playing too conservatively in the secondary while not playing conservatively on the rush. The front and the coverage aren't married, and you're seeing the result here.

We've spent the better part of a decade watching opposing offenses run routes versus air completely unopposed. When we stopped doing that in the playoffs last year and instead contested people, imagine what we played great defense. Then we go back to it and regress in a major way.
