As soon as possible. He might have something left in the tank but not for this team...Selmon Rules wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 5:43 pm They probably want him to take a flight, get gone quicker that way
Re: New York Jets Official Thread
D’oh
Chiefs’ Star QB Patrick Mahomes “definitely” thought the Jets had interest in taking him with the 6th pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.
“I definitely thought there was interest there,” Mahomes said before a 2020 matchup vs. Jets.
“At the time, they drafted a great player in Jamal Adams…you can’t really argue with that one.”
New York ended up taking Adams instead, while KC traded up to select Mahomes at 10

I know. I was just remapping the Favre path. Packers ---> Jets ---> Vikings.

There might be a team that still believes in him and wants to give him the keys to everything.
But if not I think the Vikes are a perfect fit for him to battle. Beat out a limpy JJ in camp to take control of a top team in the NFC, with a RB you know, and get to face GB twice.

He can't move. He's a sitting duck when he drops back. Flashes of the old Aaron Rodgers but nothing like what he seems to think he is...Doctor wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 3:56 pm There might be a team that still believes in him and wants to give him the keys to everything.

@McFan, so what on earth are the Jets doing with Fields?
Thanks the lord , I’m not a Jets fan.

Well I'm back for the 2025 season. Love ya TBBBers and as always all been rooting the Bucs as I do every year.
As for my team, new coach, new culture, new QB same preseason crappola.
Oh well, let's have some fun. Ok?

Y'all could've at least picked Sheduer in the 4th. Holy hell this Fields show is going to be a disaster. Wasting G5.

Smart, football sense moves isn't in the organization's DNA.
But I think they're tanking for next year. Outstanding QB class whether Arch Manning leaves for the NFL or not.
Re: New York Jets Official Thread
Such a silly concept. No control of if any player will be there at your pick and very little over if they're even a good player at all.
Don't have to look back very far to see evidence of that. But hey, maybe this loaded class will actually be loaded.

Been in an out of hospital but made it home just in time to watch my JETS lose (once again) to my 2nd favorite team who, by the way, wore my all time favorite uniforms (orange and red).
It was a fun game to watch and clearly, the better team won, but the Bucs are decimated with injuries and still pulled off a game winning drive. Just how it goes when you learn how to win.
JETS, as usual, are not a good team. No reason to blame the coach. He has years of malpractice to correct and they have no QB. But its inarguable the defense was better under Saleh and Todd Bowles so that's a problem.
So for the rest of the season, I can say: GO BUCS!, Jets (just end the season), and anyone playing Aaron Rodgers.

Exactly right Snake. Systematic failures, one after another, have doomed the organization. The one constant is Woody Johnson. He's inept but too rich to even want to sell this team. And his moronic Madden-obsessed kids will take over in 15 years so its pretty much a foregone conclusion they're never going to be any good. That's why I told my kids years ago, along with any other kids, to pick a different team to root for. Its too heartbreaking.

Zero words. I'm now convinced Jets fans are being punished for past/current life's sins. There's simply no other reasoning for this garbage every season.

Ooof.
They also ran Aaron Rodgers out of town. He’s doing just fine in Pittsburgh. Meanwhile, Justin Fields is the worst quarterback in the NFL.
