Re: NCAA football 2025
How bout them Bulls. Well done fellas. This might mark the turnaround for the program that it needs
Re: NCAA football 2025
You can drop the act. No one is buying that you were agreeing with me.

Don't tread on me
Re: NCAA football 2025
I’ve noticed that FSU’s offense is 500x better with Tommy than with DJ last year. In fact, I don’t think FSU scored more than 40 points last year until today. Please correct me if I'm wrong @Noles1724]

Re: NCAA football 2025
Watched that USF UF game today. Bulls just don't beat themselves and Gators made stupid mistakes and failed to make a play other than one punt return

Re: NCAA football 2025
We're like 3tds away from matching 2024 totals.
Give DJ credit.. his name/hype got him 3 separate NILs.
Happy you got x-star player, see in practice and gm results, not mad to see him leave after another program desperate, gives him NIL because of name/precieved talent..repeat.
I was shocked he got drafted (since cut).
The difference is the OC. He'll be gone next year.
It'd be cool if one of my teams could hold on to an OC

Malzahn is just a one-year rental. He'll bounce back on his feet, as he should.Noles1724 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 8:44 pmWe're like 3tds away from matching 2024 totals.

This Michigan/Oklahoma game is interesting. My alma mater is seemingly afraid if playing aggressively on offense, and Oklahoma's D is no joke. They are making plays, enough that I am concerned about our chances of winning this game.

Re: NCAA football 2025
Just turned on the TV. Looks about the way i thought it would. At least so far. Lot of game left.
Re: NCAA football 2025
Damn, Underwood is yelling at someone on the sideline. That’s not good.
Re: NCAA football 2025
The Gators tried to intimidate the Bulls, but they wouldn’t back down. Gritty game.Selmon Rules wrote: ↑Sat Sep 06, 2025 8:43 pm Watched that USF UF game today. Bulls just don't beat themselves and Gators made stupid mistakes and failed to make a play other than one punt return
It doesn’t get any easier. They have the Hurricanes next weekend in Miami.

Don't tread on me
Re: NCAA football 2025
They look better than I've seen them play in some time. Kinda nice to see. Mateer has some good athleticism and a decent arm, but lacks touch, or so it seems. twice now he's had opportunities to throw passes deep with some arc to give his receiver a chance to run under them, and he's opted to try and throw darts at them instead. Hope he figures it out at some point. Obviously probably not in this particular game. Just saying, he's leaving a lot of plays on the field right now.

Michigan may fire this dude after this season.
Harbaugh is a hard act to follow.

What I WOULD say is that we aren't playing great. Offensively we are incredibly conservative, to the point where we are running into loaded boxes for 2.5 yards per carry. Oklahoma is winning at the line of scrimmage; we can't brute our way into a win here.
We need to take the training wheels off the offense and give Underwood a chance to win the game. Put the ball in his hands, let's spread out the defense and lighten up that box a bit; when we make some plays in the passing game, THEN we can go back to the run.
Repeating these meathead runs is pointless. Don't get me wrong, I love meathead runs... but only if they're working.

Well, goes to show what I know.
But I guess if Oklahoma doesn't match those big sets and shifts, fuck 'em up boys.

Week 2 Off topic: bye week benefited ND I think.
Re: NCAA football 2025
Mateer needs to learn how to throw a better deep ball.
Re: NCAA football 2025
Mateer will never survive long enough to get to the NFL, sheesh. Stop running him already.
Re: NCAA football 2025
Good game @Sooner06
Underwood obviously is not ready yet. He has a good arm, but most of his throws are inaccurate. Hopefully, that can be fixed for the next game and beyond.
I’m still not sure about Moore. He did great in the last three games but he lacks the emotional

I don’t get most of the media and analysts making a big deal over Florida’s loss. As @Kress said, Florida isn’t that great.
Credit to USF, they’re a good team.
