I can barely think of one thing Mahomes, Brady, and Cunningham have in common. Toss in Lawrence and Allen?

I think they all have dicks? Maybe?

Week 2 picks

Most teams play cupcakes, but I’ll choose just one.

South Florida at Florida

I don’t need to explain my pick

My pick: Florida

As I mentioned before, I never predict Michigan games. Michigan plays Oklahoma, so it’s going to be a great game.

If you were at home, it would be a toss-up, but at Oklahoma? That's tough sledding.

I agree it should be a great game, but.... Oklahoma

Lots of questions to be answered in this one. Can OU run the ball effectively? Can the Sooner defense play better/trend upward under their new DC? Is Mateer for real? How big of an impact will that ejected MICH player (Barham?) from last week have when he returns in the 2nd half, and how will his absence effect the first half? how well will the MI QB play in Norman? Because it's going to be packed and it'll be loud.

If I was betting the game I probably wouldn't mess with the spread. I might consider taking the Under. i think OU wins it in a nailbiter, something like 23-20. Now watch it be a shootout, something like 44-42, lol.

It sounds about right. It should be close, or even a shootout, especially now that we have a quarterback.

I have a funny feeling we'll see an upset alert in the USF - Florida game today. I'm not saying USF is going to win, just that the alarm bells will go off at some point.

It appears that Florida State is making a comeback. Last year, it seemed like DJ was the problem.

I don't mean to sound like a sour puss but I don't understand how a casual is supposed to be really interested in college football save for an upset. The vast majority of these games are total ass beatings

Early in the year, there's plenty of warmup stinkers like Georgia vs Austin Peay and Ohio State vs Grambling. Instead, focus on games between teams that are actually competitive. Battles of top 25 teams are also usually a good watch.

Once we leave the doldrums of the first few weeks and get into games in conference play, that also helps. MAC teams are going to give each other a far better game than getting beat up by the Big Ten.

Doldrums is a thoughtful and kind word. Oklahoma vs Michigan should be good and Kentucky can sometimes be feisty and might give Ole Miss some issues. But beyond that? I just don't know who is really getting hype (as a casual) for FSU winning by 74 points.

I have no allegiance to anyone and days like this are nothing short of torture

Are you a ****** or something?

They were FCS defending champion a year before they beat Michigan, and they were significantly better than team that Ohio State played against today.

200x better

They are known as the team that plays against stronger opponents close and beat few of the teams

Another upset alert

USF-15

Florida-9

If USF wins this game and the next one, they’ll be in the playoffs if they win all their remaining games.
