When you find yourself saying "slow down!" more often than you used to, take note...

Makes me even more excited to have him backCheb wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 6:18 pmWhitehead is leading the league with three interceptions after just one week. It's early days so it's hard to say obviously, but if Jordan continues to play well, he could make the Pro Bowl and move out of our price range. Heck, the Jets may franchise him if he balls out.Grahamburn wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 4:05 pm
Did they let him walk or could they not afford him? The Jets signed him for $7M+ a year. I don't think they could have afforded that last year. We had under $3M in available space and half the roster seemingly with contracts including void years. He's a free agent after this season though if we want him back.

I said what I said
I didn’t pledge allegiance to the flag at 7am for 18 years, for liberty and justice for all, just to be called radical for wanting liberty and justice for all.

Pre-Season Football is a colossal waste of time for fans. Most starters don't play anyway and if they do, the only upside is the escape unhurt. NFL should go the college route and just start the season. You can make roster decisions based on 5 weeks of camp. Minnesota lost their 1st round draft pick and future QB in a nonsense game.

Does everyone get a tune up game to start the season versus UFL team?McFan wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2024 10:06 am Pre-Season Football is a colossal waste of time for fans. I was meaning starting the first game of the season with a Sun Belt or something college like many large college programs do like UCF or Coastal Carolina which would be equivalent to an NFL team starting the season with a UFL team

Re: New York Jets Official Thread
Sorry for missing last week so I'll cover both games:
Week #1: Defense was terrible, A. Rodgers was rusty, JETS should re-thing not playing anyone at any time in the preseason.
Week #2: Defense was slightly less terrible, A. Rodgers a little less rusty, injuries to key defensive personnel is not helpful. But a road win is
still a road win.
Where's Waldo Award: Haasan Reddick
Bucs fans: TBB look terrific. Baker Mayfield is finally comfortable. Keep it going!!!!

Who's everyone got tonight?
JETS don't usually play well against the Patriots but that was a Zac Wilson / Sam Darnold thing against Beilcheat. Not sure how this is going to go, being the JETS third game in 11 days.

Re: New York Jets Official Thread
Their defense is nasty. As long as the offense can stay out of the way, they should compete for a playoff spot.

Knock the shit out of the donkeys for us
Re: New York Jets Official Thread
Maybe Denver is tougher than we gave them credit for.
Re: New York Jets Official Thread
Their defense looks legit
Re: New York Jets Official Thread
I never said their offense was great. I said they're not a soft team. Beating Tampa and the Jets on the road backs that up. Show me where I said they're the GSOT 2.0.
