You're judging him against the worst pass defense in the NFL. He looks fine, but he's been a back up on 3 teams now. He's a really good backup, but he's not a great QB or hasn't been. Luck took that same team deep in the playoffs, but he was a top 5 QB.

Fournette is emerging as a star imo. He's playing so much better this year. Playing up to his draft status.

I think he drops that big pass play last year and we're on here cussing him out.

He's still a below average runner. I'm happy he's looked so much better as a receiver.

He just has horrible vision. There's so many runs he'll avoid the hole and right into the D or the oline.

Thing is, I'm not sure how much our defense improves once we get healthy. These are core issues with playcalling and philosophy that aren't fixed with CD3 and SMB.

Tom Brady can completely ignore your top corner and take excellent matchups further down your depth chart.
