There are just too many WRs in this draft to consider spending $$ one one. Although I doubt he’d be too expensive.

Jets wanted him gone. There was an article that Whitehead and Joyner were of, if not the worst safety combo against the pass a while ago. He had an insane game against the Bills, but most say it was a downward spiral from there.

Yea he was rumored to be on his way out before they even hired Harbaugh. I'd cut him too if it saved $20mil.

If I’m the Chargers I’m axing both Keenan and MWill and trying to restructure Bosa/Mack.

You took Quentin Johnston last season and are going to likely have your pick of Nabers/Marvin Harrison Jr/Odunze at 5 overall, or can at least replace Keenan trading down and getting someone in the mid first.

Pass rushers are way more valuable and there isn’t that guy in this years draft

Chargers down to $7mil over the cap. Cutting both Allen and Bosa would give them $46 mil in cap space for 2024. Holy fuck those cap hits...

I think the Mike Williams contract was sus at the time he signed it, but I don’t remember clearly.

Bosa is damaged goods at this point much like Williams. I'd salvage whatever I could in a trade but he likely will be cut eventually as well.

He got signed at the right time and it went unnoticed. That was the big boon of WR deals reaching $25-$30mil AAV. I believe that offseason alone, Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, Terry McClaurin, Copper Kupp, Chris Godwin all got big deals. Williams was one of those and his $20mil AAV was trending as middle of the pack for WRs.

Speaking of free agency, when Justin Jefferson's contract expires, which teams will bid a Insane amount of money to sign him?

There are rumors that they may trade him as he turned down 30mm to stay there.

He's, IMO, the best WR in the NFL by a wide margin, but should a WR command QB money?

Hard to say.

Very hard to say.

There's an argument to be made that Justin Jefferson is the best offensive player in the NFL under age 25.

Were it up to me, I'd pay the man.

Should probably trade him now. Insane WR class, his value will never be higher, and the Vikes aren’t winning anything soon.

#Vikings reportedly turned down a #Bengals trade offer of two 1st round picks and Tee Higgins for Justin Jefferson. Minnesota is however open to trading Jefferson for Joe Burrow.

Huge loss for Jags, but with this year's WR draft class, they might be able to land a guy like Troy Franklin, Xavier Worthy, or Brian Thomas in the 1st round to go alongside Christian Kirk. Might even be able to package something together to move up and get Odunze.

I think that’s a bad decision from the Vikings. If true.

If the man is gone after a year, which will likely be a rebuilding year, get some value.

If that is in any way real. That is shitty as hell of them to deny all of us Burrow Chase and JJ on the same NFL team. And that is a nice return package as well.

Not to mention they are still paying Christian Kirk a lot of money.

Davis is not a #1. He’s a solid #3. Kirk is a #2. They need a #1.

Yes. I’m reading similar things.

Both Winfield and Whitehead excel most going towards LOS. Need someone to step up as a coverage safety.

Yeah, by about $5mil...

Maybe he's been humbled and will finally earn his keep.

I remain skeptical.
