Well damn, I was just here glad to see MB back....

All I really remember about the move here was WI had gone off grid and buczone was going the way of the dodo so I was glad to see this. Still am even though I do miss some of the old guys, I never had a problem with them

This was the first post of this thread. And I REALLY did mean it.

I started this place because the old place looked by all indications (Yes, Outtie, nybf, _MB_ said so themselves) that we could lose it at any time. I had received a payout from an ESOP and had the money (about $1200) so I registered and tried to set up the place. I don't KNOW phpbb, so I chose a few people I followed and asked them to come aboard, making sure that they understood that I was only an advisor. Rocker, Primeminister, Swashy were 3 of them. And they were invaluable to the creation of this place.

For some reason, the old guard took all of this negatively. Why, I don't know. But they made life a living hell for most everyone here, and took a great big DUMP on this place. And me being me never understood why.

So I "owned" the forum from Aug 31, 2021 and decided to quit Jan 27, 2023. A group of people asked me to wait, and figured out a way with Godaddy to transfer this domain to their control, I pulled my Credit Card from the site and relinquished ownership. And no, I was asked to maintain anonimity, and will not devulge who those guys were. So TWO YEARS AGO, I no longer had control.

I was just as suprised to see the Buczone.com redirect as anyone. I ASSUMED that Outtie et al were going to buy it themselves, but they didn't. I do not own Buczone.com, nor do I know who does. Nor am I anymore involved as an owner of IABL.

I think I speak for everyone in saying you don't owe us or "the old guard" any explanation at all. They shit on this place because they no longer had the same control and free reign to cause havoc that they shared on BZ. I also think they got upset mainly because they didn't expect the mass exodus to IABL when it happened. Literally everyone left except them. So in their eyes you stepped on a lot of toes.

That said, you did what you felt was right and we are all grateful for it. That group is toxic to the overall climate and moral of the board. It's 1 thing to have a disagreement, even name call a bit, because at the end of the day you know it's all love. It's another to make threats about doxxing people(or actually doing so), sharing personal private information, trying to crash servers and websites and then gaslighting people about why it was done. Thats not needed here or anywhere.

I doubt you are negotiating with anyone as I doubt strongly that whomever owns the domain is interested in capitulating to your demands to hand over the domain. At least I hope they won’t.

Was that your only motivation to return to this board? To stir up enough drama that perhaps whomever owns it will somehow be cowed into gifting it to you so Outsider will stop trying to hack his way in again to take this board down like he did before? Or to cause enough chaos that whomever owns this board will be cowed into turning over the domain name so you will play nice? You think those of us still here want any of that?

It has been relatively drama free here once outsider, delt, and nybf fan left. After they tried to hack into this board and bring it down. Before they got rightfully perma banned, they thought they should have ownership of THIS board too and made no secret of how they thought THEY were little entitled kings and we should all bow to them here. They dogged and dragged Mooze and Rocker until neither of them could take it anymore and BOTH said no more and resigned their positions.

They also harassed over and over, the entire Mod team repeatedly trying to beat them down and ruin this board. And then you came back here almost a year after asking for a perma ban (!), starting up drama again and demand that the domain name be turned over to YOU and Outsider and NYBF because of some misguided belief the domain is yours because you all were mods of Buczone.com years ago?

Why on God’s green earth would whomever owns that domain name want to enable and reinforce such horrible behavior (and possibly illegal behavior from Outsider- who crashed this board for hours -by his own admission) by handing over the domain name of buczone.com over to them??

Caving to your demands to reward them by gifting them the domain name, after your cohorts did everything in their power to destroy this board?

Your browser has a section for passwords and auto-fill. Go check it out now and document your stuff so it isn't lost if your computer is "dying". Also, depending on what kind of setup you have, you should be able to buy a hdd replicator and copy your hard drive to a new one.
