Not only has he returned to form, he’s actually reached a higher level in SF as a 33 y/o. He was arguably the best offensive player in the NFL last season, sans quarterbacks.

That would be the worst decision Shanahan could make.

This is a terrible move by Lynch and Co. Lance won't be given the same leash other young QBs are given.

If it comes to benching Lance, no way Shanahan keeps his job. That would be 2 QBs replaced in less than a year. Considering the investment, if Lance is benched Lynch might be on the chopping block as well.
