The intent was to satirize MB's stereotypes about libertarians, a topic MB and I have discussed at length in the politics forum. Thinking "libertarians want rape to be legal" is at most a degree away from what MB actually thinks about libertarians. I was using a hyperbole to poke fun at his misconceptions about our agenda, while also demonstrating a familiarity with MB I thought was assumed, but clearly was wrong. MB has every right to express such sentiments to me. I have nothing more to add to my discourse with him after that point.

This is the most courteous I intend to be on the topic, should you choose to pursue it further.

But following that up with calling someone the names he called her doesn't make him a savor or right. But you felt it necessary to like the comment. So yes, your gesture is enabling because it tells him that his reply was okay.

I'd be disappointed if everyone shrugs their shoulders and moves on. This is a rookie punter who has never played a regular season snap accused of rape.

It appears that the law enforcement angle on this has some Winstonian elements to it. Based on what I was able to read, and in particular the phone call, this isn't going swell for the man with the golden leg.

I read through everything that is available. I think he’s screwed. They have him on record on the phone, with police listening, admitting to statutory rape at minimum. Then he switched up his tune and said he didn’t recall anything once he realized the police were on the line.
