If the Bills win Monday, they'd host the Chiefs. The Ravens would host the Texans.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
It seems as if you have poor reading comprehension. I never once said that those are the only channels that you get. I used those channels because NFL games are on them. How many channels is not relevant. What is relevant is that you have to buy an HD antenna to access these channels. An HD antenna costs money. Far more than a 6 dollar sub to Peacock. Using your own logic then that would mean that it is behind a pay wall.13F11B wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2024 7:42 pmReally? I get 30 channels with an antenna. I do not have a satellite or cable.Onthebrink wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2024 7:41 pm
With any one of my smart TVs you have to buy an HD antenna to get 2,4,7. Otherwise you have to have cable or satellite.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
No reading comprehension issues... just a lack of clarity on your part. People live in different parts of the country and don't have the same channel as you do. Yes, an antenna costs money. Again, my raising the issue was NOT due to the fact that it cost money, but that it is the first time the NFL has placed a playoff game behind a paywall. Normally, it is on broadcast TV. People either have access to local channels. They may NOT have access to Peacock streaming.Onthebrink wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2024 11:38 pmIt seems as if you have poor reading comprehension. Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
The fact peacock did the whole 4th quarter commercial free was good enough for my year investment of 20 on black Friday, even if the game 2was out of reach. Also the picture quality on all of the streaming services beat antenna or even standard cable down.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
NFL didn't lose fans, Peacock gained subs. Point blank, all you can do is complain. NBC pulled a boss move. Now those people who did sub for the game, have a month to check the content. I can tell you they have some good stuff and the quality of the stream was flawless.13F11B wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 12:01 amNo reading comprehension issues... just a lack of clarity on your part. You are 100% accurate. Still too bad that they moved it off of broadcast TV. Perhaps it is just me being nostalgic about the old days of being able to watch boxing on broadcast TV.bucarican wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 12:07 amNFL didn't lose fans, Peacock gained subs. I'm a fan of Love. His arm talent is special and the guy throws some sweet passes with good anticipation. Makes me realize why Packers coaches and front office celebrated when they drafted him. That being said, I think Dak this year is playing with calm aggression and feels different. The same vibe as Lamar. I can't see Packers defense stopping Ceedee-Dak connection. I think Packers will look competent against Cowboys D, but will fall short in a reasonably high scoring game.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Dallas signed off on a "Be Love" quote in the back of the end zone?
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
I'm glad Greg Olsen is calling this game. Whenever he calls Bucs games we seem to play terrible
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Dallas playing with a jinx-scared vibe…

Green Bay flopped but Dallas up in his grill

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Dak looks like a completely different qb thus far. Not sure what's going on, but somewhere Jerry Jones is having his secretary look up Jim Harbaugh and Bill Belichick's numbers.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
I think Dak looks fine. His incompletion that led to a punt in previous drive was defended very well, so was the pass that got intercepted.

Green Bay looks very prepared today. Dallas will counter eventually, it's not as if they're playing poorly.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
How did Jordan Love go from looking like Jordan Love on the field to playing like black Aaron Rodgers???
He honestly looks and plays like Rodgers so much at times that it's eery.
But yeah Green Bay fans can fuck off from ever complaining about their team as they appear to have secured their third consecutive franchise QB. They could very well be in their way to having 40+ years of elite QB play and it's sickening.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
This game might get McCarthy fired given the abundance of elite coaching talent there is this hiring cycle.

Funny thing is if GB wins and Rams win tonight….which is very possible, we could be playing for a home game next week.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Damn. Cowboys are CHOKING.
