Kefense is destined to become the key to the offense.

Looking at his resume, he's coached consistently every year at the college level since 2003. Several years as an OC and playcaller as well. This is his 1st time coaching at the NFL level. He'll contribute greatly to play design and game planning.

Any free agents you guys like that you feel fit here or that you think we'll be interested in?

Re: The Official 2025 Off-Season Thread
I mean, he's obviously competent, but I'd rather have a younger coach that's been focused on the finer points of Dline play. This feels like Bowles saw him around town somewhere and asked if he'd be interested, not a concerted effort to bring in a DL specialist to get the most out of what we have.
Last time Charlie Strong was coaching line play was over 20 years ago.

That long ass trip
I’ve heard that Goodell is considering the Super Bowl overseas. He gotta go!
Can you imagine watching the Super Bowl at 9:30 in the morning?!

I mean I watch football at 10am most Sundays so that would be par for the course, if not preferred. Always nice to have a valid excuse to crack a beer in the AMs

You can relax @Phantom.
The Superbowl will never be played internationally. Hosting requirements stipulate that the host city has their own NFL team. There are no international NFL teams.

Agreed. Also.....the game is played on the day and time it is played for a reason. It is the point when the most eyes in total figure to be on the game. A lot tougher to do overseas depending where overseas the game would be.
The NFL puts this out there every year it seems. I guess it is to keep the carrot in front of potential international cities.

NFL: Hey! Let's put a team in Munich and play a SB there.
Munich is 6 hours ahead of the east coast. 9 hours ahead of the west coast. You can't have a primetime SB in America unless the game were to start around 2 AM in Munich. lol

Don't tread on me

Does the name... 'America's Game' mean anything to this country?

I don't think it's necessarily marketing when half of the world calls Soccer, Football.Primeminister wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 12:05 pmYou mean to ask if the marketing term means anything? Yes…it means successful marketing. America’s Game means as much as America’s Team.

My money is on Cousins to Steelers
Russell Wilson is reportedly not expected to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers, despite Wilson recently expressing his desire to come back on "The Pat McAfee Show."
Wilson reportedly failed to follow the game script during a 5-game losing skid and now there is "no chance" he'll return to Pittsburgh.

Their efforts have mostly focused in this Country with that slogan, I'd assume.BJJ34 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 2:14 pmI don't think it's necessarily marketing when half of the world calls Soccer, Football.Primeminister wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 12:05 pm

I forgot how absolutely genius this was

I said what I said
I didn’t pledge allegiance to the flag at 7am for 18 years, for liberty and justice for all, just to be called radical for wanting liberty and justice for all.

Re: The Official 2025 Off-Season Thread
Cousins looked terrible late this past season. It would be a bad move for anyone to sign him with any expectations beyond "well....we've got to put someone back there who knows how to take a snap".Phantom wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 11:22 am My money is on Cousins to Steelers

NFL ownership doesn't profit from the Superbowl. They aren't even part of the selection process.GreatTimes wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 3:05 pmThrow enough money at the owners and they would approve having the SB on the moon.
The NFL is not moving the largest TV event in this country to an international location.
