Have I missed the PA pass on first down or has Leftwhich just not called one?

Yeah Cam is not the best running QB of all time, maybe top 10.

For example Jackson is head and shoulders better now than Cam ever was.

Cam Newton is maybe the best running quarterback of all-time, and he's probably the best redzone running quarterback ever. Playing him in the red zone is a good idea so the defense is forced to play 11-on-11.
No.
Michael Vick
Randall Cunningham
Steve Young

I would put all of them above Cam Newton. I might put Donovan McNabb and Steve Grogan above him as well.
While true, Newton was good at one time. Ever since that one play in the superbowl where he didn't dive for the football, he just hasn't been the same.

Even with LF healthy I'd like to see more RoJo.

Rotate them back and forth, sort of like Dallas does with Zeke and Pollard.

He looks pretty good so far today.

Cam Newton is the NFL career-leader in rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with 74. The second closest guy is Steve Young with 43. He also has the most rushing attempts by the QB in NFL history and is second in rushing yards.

Cam is the best red-zone rushing quarterback of all time, full stop. I don't like the guy much, but credit where it's due, he's very good at running the ball, as his 33 yard run against us today showed.

He was rushed and had to dump it off, Howard hadn't worked himself free.

It happens. Better that than the sack.

What a mess of a 3rd down play that was. Brate did not come under the two guys clearing for him.

It's not a bad design if howard doesn't run into brate. It clears all stuff underneath so he can run for a first down.

Cam’s peak as an athlete (or a ball carrier QB) may have been short but it was ATG good imo. There isn’t a long list.

If Brate would've run that shallower, it woulda been a nice call.

When you play physical with Brady he's a different QB.

He just is.

No, the play call on that was fine. It was meant for Brate and he needed to come under the other two a bit more. If that was run properly it would have likely scored.

Judging by where the throw was, looks like Howard was supposed to clear on the outside. Who knows though, that was a mess.

I'm going to guess Howard got confused there.

Brate's defender played that way over the top and it would've been an uncontested short slant.

Howard got in the way. lol..

Back to back failed drives.

Meh guess I can't expect much with all our best weapons injured.

I just saw Vaughn‘s touchdown. I guess that’s what he did in college. Pretty good runner in a straight line. Panthers defense looking like shit and bad tackling.

Sure Snake, but greatest running QB of all time?

Put down the edibles. :)

Of course it's an opinion, not everyone will see it the same.

Its an outside release Fade (Gronk) and Whip (Out and then Pivot back In from Howard) from Unbalanced Right w/ Brate coming hard underneath. Basically a Tunnel Screen concept without OL climbing 2nd level (so just a rub concept).

It was actually a winning play against the coverage.

Either Howard run the wrong depth on his Whip route or (more likely) Brate didn't run his Drag/Slant flat enough underneath it. My money is on the latter.

We have clown shoes moments of execution sometimes.

Thank you. That was a good play call with shit for execution. Sometimes it’s not on the coaches.

That gross lack of execution is either coached or condoned.

The Cam counter run and the broken coverage when Darnold extended a play are why they have 6pts.

Most of the plays have been Bucs wins on defense
