Didn't Warner suffer the same type of injury Godwin is still recovering from?

Similar, from what I understand anyway, but Warner actually suffered a fracture along with the dislocation. Iirc, Godwin just dislocated his ankle?

Rule of thumb: You can have a fracture without a dislocation but its next to impossible to have a dislocation without a fracture. Godwin 100% had a fracture/dislocation and from the looks of it Warner did too.

It was one of those SF post-game show on YT. i like to hear the opposing POV sometimes after a game, so I clicked on it. One of the hosts(?) made the comment that the injury was similar to Godwin's, then said something about it being worse than Godwin's, and a couple minutes later the other guy played a clip where coach Shanahan said, "it was broken and dislocated," which was when the first guy said something about it being worse.

Actually, I remember now that i watched the show yesterday, not right after the game. So they probably had the X-ray results by then, since Shanahan actually said that it was broken.

Eh, you're probably right. Not like those two guys were in the medical field anyway, just a couple of football heads. The only thing that really stuck with me was the video clip they played of coach Shanahan saying that Warner dislocated and broke his ankle, and that his season was over. And that he looked and sounded upset. Which, i mean, obviously he would be. Without Warner, SF's season might be over as well.
