No one? I am seriously saying that I do not want Payton as the HC of the Buccaneers. I think he is the wrong person for the job for multiple reasons. You can disagree with me all you want. You can label it whatever you want. The better question is why would Payton want to leave the Saints? If it is because he is afraid of the rebuild then he is not all that good of a coach, right? I guess the other option is that he is crazy.

That's just fandom talk they think makes them sound cool.

If you think Jim Harbaugh is the best coach of the Dolphins, and you can get him, you owe it to the actual Dolphins fans to try. The people who buy the season tickets and the hats and the $50 parking. The idea that Ross would refuse to pursue Harbaugh because it would hurt his alma mater should fundamentally piss Dolphins fans off. Especially when they've been so consistently mediocre since he bought the team, and especially since he just fired a relatively successful and promising head coach.
Relax, it's just Ross blowing smoke. He in no way would pass on Harbaugh for the "sake of Michigan".
In fact I see that as possibly the most likely of all the rumored moves to actually happen. Ross loves Harbaugh. Only thing that would muck it up is if Harbaugh presses for too much control too soon.
According to Matt Lombardo of FanSided.com, the Dolphins top choice from what he has been hearing is Daboll. Daboll, according the Lombardi is “enamored” with Tua Tagovailoa so the chance to work with him again could be something that sways him.

I guess Jamesis Winston is good as gone?
That's not an absolute...they don't have anyone else, but I don't know that any other coach in the NFL can protect Jameis from himself and still get production the way that Peyton (and their run game) did last season.

I know there’s a -0% chance of this because he’s under contract but I’d like to see what Sean Payton could do with Trevor Lawrence
A lot of Bucs fans hate him, but he's a really great coach. He's kept that team as a constant contender through injuries, regressions, cap casualties, whatever.
I think he'd do great with almost any QB. He made Drew Brees, Teddy B, Taysom Hill, Trevor Seimian, and Jameis Winston their best under his system.

And now that the work is getting tough, he's running like a bitch.
Some rumors are he was really upset with how the league was handling COVID, especially in regards to the Saints...others are saying he's just not optimistic on the roster.
If he really plans on just taking 2 years off, it's a bitch move to go elsewhere.
Saints are in big trouble. I have no idea what they’re going to do. I guess promoting the OC, whoever that is, is the typical move. But we know Payton is the brains.
Saints are -$71m to -$90m above the cap threshold without a QB!!? I knew it was bad but holy shit. Can’t say I blame the guy for cutting bait. He put in his time.
Looking through the roster payroll matrix. I don’t see where they get this money. Top 11 paid players all have a massive dead cap hit if they’re released.
Roby is the only one that’s obvious. $11m none guaranteed.

Gratz to Byron. Glad we get an extra pick. I think Bowles will be getting hired soon as well. It was pretty obvious by our gameplans on offense and defense vs the Rams that these two had one foot out the door. I can't blame them really
