When I was growing up, I never heard anything about Wisconsin football. Looking at their historical records now, I can see why. They ranged from sucky to middling, and that was about it. Their success is a relatively recent phenomenon, so maybe they're just regressing back to the mean?

Starting in the 90s , they were always one of those teams one step below Ohio State and Michigan. Always had great offensive lines and running backs. Kind of always expected them to win nine or 10 games a year.

And with how they split up the conference, they were generally the best team on the West side

Given the purple, that's likely it. I got confuzzled because they just wore purple at GT, which was odd to begin with. It's usually reserved for military appreciation week, and I can't say I ever remember them wearing it on the road. Anyway, good call.

I'm a bit nervous about OSU and their late kickoff @ Washington. They only have 1 home loss since the beginning of the 2022 season.

I haven’t watched much of the Oregon game, but I’ve seen some highlights. They don’t impress me as much as they did last year, and they’re not the same team. Penn State should win that game because they have most starters back from last year.

Kind of a toss up between OSU and Bama for that crown. At least Bama fans shut up when their team isn't winning
