If Ecchols is hurt, that bodes well for the Bucs chances of tying this game.
Re: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS @ NEW YORK J-E-T-S OFFICIAL GAME DAY THREAD
So it's the Mike Evans and Gronk show from here on out.
Perriman and Cyril Grayson need to make plays when they get opportunities. They do add a speed element to our offense as a silver lining.
Need Lenny and Gio back. The Rojo/Vaughn/Bell mix isn't very impressive

Re: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS @ NEW YORK J-E-T-S OFFICIAL GAME DAY THREAD
Don't get it twisted, BA isn't the prideful one here. When was the last time you saw a NFL player leave his team in the middle of a game? I can't remember the last time I have, that's for sure, but maybe your memory is better than mine.Tnbandwagoner wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:20 pmCheb wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:14 pm
Billy Wilder, the famous director, was once asked why he put up with Marilyn Monroe, who sometimes was hours late to set. His answer was that his grandmother was extremely dependable, could always be counted on to show up on time and do exactly what was asked of her, but was worth about ten cents at the box office. Outside of AB we’ve got mostly grandmas on this offense at present. BA can be prideful and cut off his own nose to spite his face, or he can swallow his pride and have a shot at another ring.
If a player quits on his team in the middle of a game, he just cut himself. Add the fake COVID card crap on top of it? Easy decision to make.
AB just cut himself. Doesn't matter if he's talented or not. He's proven just now on national fucking television how unreliable he is. I wouldn't trust him farther than I could throw him. What if he does that in a playoff game, you cool with that too?
I would be very surprised if Antonio Brown plays another NFL snap.

There has been no report of an injury. My guess is that he was on a pitch count as well.

Agreed with Moose. Gronk was the play underneath on that 3rd down.
Re: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS @ NEW YORK J-E-T-S OFFICIAL GAME DAY THREAD
We gotta be 0’fer on the season on those long shots on 3rd and 4th.
Re: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS @ NEW YORK J-E-T-S OFFICIAL GAME DAY THREAD
I really hate that playcalling/decision making there.
Just get the first down and keep momentum.
I know that's how we play, but it's annoying AF sometimes

Time for the defense to get a pick six.

LOL at calling Joe Namath “one of the best ever.”
Re: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS @ NEW YORK J-E-T-S OFFICIAL GAME DAY THREAD
Brady is trying different plays and getting his timing down with the new guys. The deep shots are nothing but preparation for the playoffs.
Re: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS @ NEW YORK J-E-T-S OFFICIAL GAME DAY THREAD
Was that a Brady decision or a designed play?
If that's a Brady decision, how can his decision making regress so heavily??

Do you think it was the lack of targets in order for him to reach his incentives?
No matter what.......he needs to go NOW!
Don't even let him fly back with the team!
Great call. I just looked this up.
“ Brown is in striking distance of $1 million in total contract incentives -- $333,333 each for receptions, yards and touchdowns. He entered Sunday with 29 receptions and had 10 in the Bucs' 32-6 win over the Carolina Panthers, leaving him needing 11 in the final two games to earn an additional $333,333, according to a review of his contract.
Brown also entered with 418 receiving yards and added 101, now needing 281 more in the final two games to earn another $333,333 in incentives. He also has five touchdowns and needs two more to make another $333,333.”
My guess is you’re absolutely on the money.
The pitch count really really impacts his ability to earn that 667 k in incentives. The odds that was in play here is very high in my opinion.

Brady never, ever called that B.S. in New England. That’s 100% clown BA’s risk it-biscuit bullshit, and it’s costing the team games. Wildly, inexcusably incompetent.

Brady has the ability to throw it anywhere, even if that was his primary read.Tnbandwagoner wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:32 pmBrady never, ever called that B.S. in New England. That’s 100% clown BA’s risk it-biscuit bullshit, and it’s costing the team games. Wildly, inexcusably incompetent.

He threw the pass.
What was the coverage?
Was anyone open.
We can’t answer anything about that play until we know that.
And why didn’t Mike make the catch on 2nd and 6 so we weren’t in 3rd down in the first place?

That was a bad pass, still should have been caught, but Brady got rid of it quickly without much pressure on 3rd.Nobody wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:34 pmWhat were the other routes?uscbucsfan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:32 pm

Based on something I read, I knew he was on the brink of earning more money. That was the only logical thing I could think of that would make him go AB!Nobody wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:31 pmWow.Bahamian:bucfan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 3:16 pm Seriously; what could have made Antonio Brown go AB!?
