Takes about a week for someone to test positive for covid after being exposed. Evans positive test is right within the time period needed to test positive for covid after getting it from the disgusting Saints.

I vaguely remembered one case pre-vaccine of a player being hospitalized but when I googled it I found that Dakota Dozier was vaccinated and sent to the hospital due to difficulty breathing. This was back on November 10th. Regardless I agree with you and I am more concerned with the hamstring injury. This late in the season it is not will he be 100% healthy but how much will the injury impact his play. The team has a lot of injuries right now and having players get more healthy would be nice.

We are 9th in how many we have allowed but we are only 8 points away from being 4th.

The top three do not look reachable but #4 could be easy.

Another tidbit although I did not keep close track of it.

I know we were allowing opposing QB's 70% completion range, we now have them down around 65%.

Bottom line though, Shaq ain't coming back from a sprained ACL in 3 weeks. Not happening.

MCL recovery times depends on how severe the sprain is and the position played. Joe Flacco missed zero games with an MCL sprain about 7 or 8 years ago. Earlier this season Aaron Jones only missed two weeks with his, so entirely possible Barrett could be back by the playoffs if he has a grade I sprain.

This sports medicine site shows it can be anywhere from a few days to eight weeks depending on the severity of the sprain.

t can take anywhere from a few days to 8 weeks for an MCL injury to heal and a person to return to normal activities and sports. Generally, the timeline is determined by the severity of the injury, although this is not true for every person.

Grade I (sprain or overstretched) tears will typically heal within a few days to a week and a half
Grade II (partial or incomplete) tears may take 2 to 4 weeks to heal
Grade III (full) tears can take 4 to 8 weeks to heal

So could be back even with a grade II

I suspect the position a player plays makes quite a bit of difference. Seems to me a QB doesn't normally spend a great deal of time sprinting and twisting while driving around/thru a big mother trying to push him away. Seems likely Shaq would put quite a bit more strain on the old hinges than Aaron Jones or Joe Flacco.

It was 2013. He pushed Geno Smith out of bounds and got hit with a unnecessarily rougher penalty. The penalty put the Jets in FG range and they hit the game winner as time expired. LVD was in tears.
