Texans Super Bowl in next 2-3 seasons. Buckle in.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
9 times out of 10 backup QBs in the playoffs come back down to earth. The other 1 time, they're Nick Foles.

Outside of trading Stroud or firing Casero or Ryans, I don't know how Houston could fuck up the trajectory.

Cleveland's offense has 2 TD's. Houston's defense has 2 TD's.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
I think they got the HC/QB right. Young talent everywhere. Whoever is in charge of personnel seems to know what they’re doing.Miller4Prez64 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2024 6:50 pmIdk, despite the quick tournaround their organization isn’t the best. I wouldn’t put it past them fucking it up.
But, I know what you mean. The history isn’t good.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Getting Tank Dell back plus any other special moves gets them there fairly quickly. Just have to avoid the Sophomore Slump CJ.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Yeah, who knows. They look damn good right now.
I just envision a bit more roster building and some maturation first.
Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Scary thing is Tank Dell is as good as Nico Collins. Next year this team could be a machine.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
I honestly thought they were gonna be a top 3 AFC team for years with Watson until it all fell apart. At least Easterby isnt there anymore, that was one of the most pathetic executive hires in NFL history.Snake wrote: ↑Sat Jan 13, 2024 6:53 pmI think they got the HC/QB right. Young talent everywhere. Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Flacco was always a bit of a lock to have his turnovers. But Houston is having their way with this Cleveland defense, which is a surprise.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
Texans can definitely win it all. All you need to do is get hot at the right time. How many games you win don’t matter one iota.

Well who is CBPOTY? I can't see it being Flacco playing 5 games.

Super impressed with what Ryans has done with the Texans. Stroud looks like a 5 year vet already.
I'm not excited to play the Texans if I'm the Ravens ..

Too bad the NFL decided to make the Chiefs game a paywall game.

Stroud will be the most studied player in the offseason.

All people have to do is pay $6 bucks, get Peacock for the night and cancel it after.
Kills me people bitch about $6.00 but pay $100+ for cable in 2024.

Oh, you are dead now?
It isn't about the money... its about the game being locked behind a paywall. The playoffs were ALWAYS broadcast TV in the past.

Re: Wild Card Week Discussion
I would be okay if they gave it to Hamlin. Even though he hasn’t earned it on the field, it’s still an incredible story.
I would be pretty annoyed if they give it to Flacco for a 5 game Jameis stretch with an elite defense to cover up his mistakes. If they aren’t giving it to Hamlin it should be Baker since he went from being almost out of the league to establishing himself as a top half of the league QB, and did it the whole year.

With any one of my smart TVs you have to buy an HD antenna to get 2,4,7. Otherwise you have to have cable or satellite.
