ESPN college gameday is heading to South Bend!

Guest celebrity picker: https://usbettingreport.com/news/espn-c ... st-picker/. Don’t be surprised if the guest is Taylor Swift lol

Phantom pick record: 2-1. Only loss LSU-FSU…

For now I’m leaning toward Notre Dame. I’ll revisit this pick a hour before game..

Literally a useless statement.

Everything is worse than poutine.

Yes, even that. That, too. Yup, also that. All of it worse than poutine.

But it's already been established that the guy bakes his ribs, prefers Miracle Whip, and puts ketchup on steak, so we've moved on.

5k?! Dayummm

Some of states will make NIL law soon
Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith has claimed in a written testimony that it has "become common" for potential prospective college athletes to ask for $5,000 merely to visit a school’s campus.

Smith's assertion comes on the same day he and others from across the world of college athletics appeared before the House Committee on Small Business in Washington, D.C., to discuss the impact of name, image and likeness (NIL) rules on college sports. Smith is among those who believe federal legislation is needed.

“A practice of asking a school for a fee to simply visit campus has emerged; asking for $5,000 just to visit has become common. During visits, discussions now emerge regarding how much a student-athlete can expect from NIL," Smith wrote in his testimony.
Currently, six have passed NIL legislation at the state level (California, Florida, Colorado, Nebraska, New Jersey, and Michigan).

I'd favor them over just about anybody right now. Penix is looking like the Heisman winner to me.

what's the point of getting up set over pointless rankings.. just win and we'll be in a position to not need others to validate.. we're in the drivers seat, not a better place to be after wk 4.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about the rankings - you guys are sitting pretty right now. Clemson was your last real road test until Florida. Just don't let them play spoiler, and you'll be an undefeated ACC champ.

This early in the year, rankings are very speculative and likely inaccurate. The chaff will separate from the wheat in time, just as it always does.

Miami is a bigger test of FSU's mettle than Florida. Cristobal is a great recruiter. He can bring in the Jimmys and Joes. If he can get the right combo of assistants to put together a good plan regarding the X's and O's, watch out.

Florida will not be much of a test at all, even if the game is in The Swamp.
