He didn't have to dive. AB beat his man and Brady went for 7. I get Godwin was open, but we're arguing 5 yds vs 7 pts. AB beat his man and dropped a sure TD.

Dive/falling to get it is semantics. He was to get his finger tips on the ball. That's a low % play. If he caught it, it would have been a top 10 play of the week. A 5-10 yard Godwin play seals the game as well and is a higher % to complete.

Offense needs to play better, but considering the weather and the fact that Belichick probably worked on that gameplan since March 2020, it wasn’t that bad either. Redzone efficiency was the main issue.

Have to clean up the damn penalties though.

Overcame INJURIES , HORRIBLE officiating from the early fumble right until the last drive !! (Missed false start ,DPI on Whitehead, to the out of bounds catch) sh*% weather , ridiculous rowdy crowd , & missed chip shot FG !!!

ALL things considered these wins with the adversary conditions impress me more than these boneheaded shootouts!

The defense showed up.. JTS, making presence felt! Shaq, all of them showed hustle and got after it!! Can’t fault Sherman guy was on his couch 5 days ago playing in this game in these conditions..

Of course our last two possessions we had to get points and we did!! With all things on TB12 , to have the composure to lead two drives on last two possessions were bigger than his stat line.
