Basically the same thing I said but you got bent out of shape by the word lie.

But we agree. @acmillis is wrong here, whatever information he got was bad info.

When I grow up, I’m gonna buy a Speak ‘N Spell for real life applications. And by golly, when I press down on that chunky button on the side of my toy, I hope the darned thing will teach me what is and is not a lie.

The machine wouldn't be able to overcome subjective poetential observations. Would immediately become a fire hazard and a danger to the user.

We saw the difference between a well-coached, well-prepared football team with an identity on Sunday versus one with none of those qualities. If Bowles isn't on the hot seat he should be.

We may want to check with @King Bootz first to make sure he's okay with it.

I mean that's the parameters, right? She said it so he goes on the list. Seems that works for everyone except me.

I disagree.

He should already be on the OUT category.

The season is done. Hire that woman OL coach (is she still on the staff? Oh who cares?) as our interim HC and have her tell Tom he's acting OC for the rest of the season. She doesn't have to be qualified for the job, our current HC proved that with his Peter Principle in Action, but she will be a culturally correct replacement for the rest of the season.

All performance based ... you suck, teams tanking, you're on the list .. the list is compiled based on metrics as well as past performance. Seattle's start looked ominous, Tampa's performance has been below average (see under .500 record) and .. we'll see

Appreciate your opinions .. it's not a popularity contest, it's a history lesson

So why don't the Rams or Patriots apply here? Rams are 4-9. Pats 6-6 and underwhelming for the 3rd year in a row.

That depends on who's moving the goal posts...Oops, I mean providing the context.

Also.....

Bring the validation that Belichik or McVay are under the gun, they get on the list.
You're work .. not sure what happened to you .. and really sorry you're all in a bunch .. this list isn't mine, I just monitor it.

But you can start a thread of teams with bad records if you wish .. it would be really interesting[/color]

Nothing happened. You say you monitor the list and nothing more. Someone lists a name, you add it. But now I have to provide validation.

Tale Carroll for instance. By your and @acmillis admission, he's on the list only because he said the Seahawks and Carroll "might" part ways. No proof, no validation, no other source even indicating this to be the case. He just had a thought, you added it. I've listed 2 teams with worst overall records and performances and you now need validation?

Seems the one who's in a bunch is you. Since all you do is monitor the list, me naming them should've been all that was needed. But evidently it's not for reasons unknown.

According to Albert Breer, Former Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien is at the "top of the list" for the Patriots head coaching job whenever Bill Belichick decides to retire.

The Kraft family likes O'Brien's attitude and would relish at the opportunity to bring him onto the team to command Mac Jones and the offense, whether that be at playcaller next season, or head coach at some point in the future.

BoB got a lot of hate for GM'ing the Texans into the ground. As well he should.

But BoB the COACH did a good job.

Lovie Smith survived a 2-14 season. Indeed,
the Glazers have never had a coach serve less than 2 seasons.

I'd be surprised if Bowles were fired.

I could see a scenario where Bowles is allowed to stay if he fires Leftwich. But lord knows how that plays with the Arians dynamic.

Bowles will be back. Leftwich may not but I don't think that's a given. One way the Bucs won't lose him is because he gets a HC gig.

Dennis Allen should be on this list.

8-28 in 3 years with the Raiders. 5-9 this year after the team was over .500 last year.

Allen is listed as Interim coach. He gets to duck this list

:?: Allen was promoted to the teams HC position in the same way Bowles was. He's not interim at all. He was actually promoted BEFORE Bowles was.

I understand that Payton can walk back on and take over the team (I don't think that will happen, but that's what I read)

Isn't Bootz the one who bet Winston was still going to be a Buccaneers and then crawled his way back to the board after losing the bet?

That bet was 2018. Winston did return in 2019, unless you're arguing otherwise.

The bet was regarding whether Winston or Fitzpatrick would be the starting quarterback following another disastrous Winston performance.
