He passed up a lot of jobs to find the program that was willing to institute the infrastructure that he wanted. One of the biggest - if not the biggest - group of support staff in the country.

I’d probably take Ohio State’s receiver room over some bad NFL WR rooms. Gotta be a few first rounders in there at all times!

Ohio State has been embroiled in some major recruiting battles against Notre Dame for the last year. Mostly since Marcus Freeman took over in Notre Dame. It’s been contentious because Marcus Freeman, Ohio State graduate and former player, has publicly said that he regrets going to Ohio State and wishes he would’ve went to Notre Dame instead. Obviously, just shit to get his recruits fired up. But it was taken personally in Columbus. Notre Dame is recruiting their ass off at the moment - they have a top three class the last time I checked - so this is something of a major game for these two. On top of two top-5 teams already being a big game.

Gators Anthony Richardson and Tennessee Hendon Hooker should be frontrunner for the Heisman

But all that doesn't explain how Notre Dame was supposed to beat Ohio State, so that Clemson could then beat Notre Dame, and this would all play into my own personal agenda. Weak sauce.

Brian Kelly is going to eek out every ounce of talent in the team. Jayden Daniels could be pretty spectacular. I’m worried for the Noles. But if there is a game they can win, it’s week one!

And that hill is a hell of a lot steeper than you think. They always say that, but if you've ever tried to run down it? Hot damn.

Schiano…
However, the show must go on, and Scarlet Knights coach Greg Schiano and offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson began Saturday’s game with an unusual strategy—they used three different players under center on the first drive.

They’re supposed to rotate guards, not centers…

I look at his stats, he play extremely well against cupcake team Utah State. Do you think he win the Heisman again? I don’t think we had 2x winner since early 1970s

Correct me if I’m wrong

He's the preseason front runner and didn't hurt his chances while only playing like 1 half.

I’m pretty committed to the idea that Jayden Daniels is a great QB prospect. As shown by these posts from BucZone. But I’m a bit worried he’s stuck in the habit of holding the ball too long and then bailing on pockets and leaning on his athleticism. He’s shown some good stuff on the first drive. But he needs to get the ball out quicker.

September 7th 2019:

Jayden Daniels is one of the best true freshman players in the country and will likely be a significant prospect in a couple years. He sees the game really well, but needs to put on literally 40 lbs between now and then.

August 21st 2021:

Jayden Daniels - I believe Jayden Daniels has the best deep ball and pocket presence in the PAC. Possibly near the top in the nation. He doesn’t really turn the ball over either. Super elusive. downsides: He’s too skinny and struggled badly with accuracy in the intermediate
