Well the spread tells me that Vegas thinks Georgia will do what Michigan did but NOT make the mistakes. In reality, if Michigan doesn’t throw two picks for TDs and scores 21 pts inside the 3 yard line instead of just 3 pts, the game isn’t close.

Winning a championship would break college football as we know it.

Seeing lots of people say “it shouldn’t have come to OSU’s kicker needing to hit a FG”…in other places.

I find this odd. He’s a kicker. Kickers kick. If he fails, it is what it is.

For the first time ever, I actually agree with you. . I may not like most of your post about the bets, but I agree with the logic of this post. Kudos!

Ohio St started choking long before the missed field goal.
Plus I think Max can be far more dangerous than Stetson and more willing than CJ.

I think it would be a great change of pace.

Hey @Navybuc i rewatched the game

JJ McCarthy gave them 14 points.

A 21 point win for Michigan without the pick 6s, minus stupid trick play and Romans touchdown stand.

Not to mention scoring tds when at the 2-yard line instead of one fg and two turnovers.

As a general rule, scoring touchdowns is a solid strategy. I think it's a staple of most playbooks.

Maybe not Byron's, but wrong forum.

I don’t know man. If Harbaugh leave, who’s going to replace him?

I like JJ MCarthu but he needs to work on deep ball

Exactly. Hey mattress Mack, bet $1 million on this game and your name and your company will be everywhere for the next 24 hours.

I will screw this up, but he had a whole deal where he promoted a free mattress to anyone who bought one in the next 30 days if team x won, then he laid a monster bet on them winning that same game, so...... No matter what, he wins.

Team x loses and he sold a ton of mattresses. Score - offsets his bet. Team x wins and he owes the money back to those people, but his Vegas account just went chaching.

Yeah, it goes something like:

If you buy $5k worth of furniture between in October (month of WS) and PHI wins, your furniture is free. He'll then place a bet to cover him (essentially, self insuring) and he doesn't lose a dime....ever.

I read that entire article and I still don't know what supposedly happened. There were level 1s and 2s and lack of cooperation about the 3s - but only by implicitly implied implications - and then denials of some sort?

It's all very nebulous at this point. We'll just have to wait and see.

Keep an eye on TCU wideout Quentin Johnston in this game. This is a really good draft for wideouts in the mid-first to late second mold. I expect to see a ton of guys drafted in that range. But Johnston is probably the only guy who can crash the Top Ten. The size is what it is, but his ability to get clean releases and set up RAC opportunities against soft coverages is elite. And he can just run by guys. Best comp as a prospect I've got is probably 6'4 CeeDee Lamb. Do not be surprised if he takes over this game, or at least single-handedly keeps TCU in it.

TCU a 13 1/2 point dog, with a 63 over/under? So Vegas has this as an absolute ass whooping.
